Part 13

Serena shrugged when they heard Missy from the monitor "Wild Card, Serena? We need you. Right now!" Missy said 

"On our way," Wild Card said grabbing Serena by her waist

"Ready?" He asked 

"Yup! Stay cool," Serena said to Wild Card and Mrs. Granada 

They teleported to the kids and Wild Card high-fived Facemaker 

"Get down there, quick!" Missy said pointing at the bottom of a hole

"Which one of us?" Wild Card asked 

"This one is mine!" Serena yelled jumping down 

Serena used her powers to keep herself from falling and she landed right beside Slo-Mo. Serena teleported Slo-Mo back up and she used her powers to get back up landing next to Wild Card 

"What is wrong with you!" Wild Card said hugging her 

"Relax babe I'm fine," Serena laughed 

"But what if your powers failed and I lost you!" Wild Card said shaking her lightly 

"Wild Card relax!" Serena said 

"Okay, sorry I just can't lose you," Wild Card said calming himself down 

Suddenly the ground started shaking and the pyramid started opening-up 

"What's happening?" Missy asked 

"The takeover is happening," Ojo responded 

A bright light was shining as the kids saw their parents walking out 

"Wait. So our parents were in the pyramid all along? But I don't understand. What's the takeover?" Missy asked Ojo as the president, Mrs. Granada, and some guards came in 

"The takeover of power...from your parents," Mrs. Granada said 

"You see, the next generation is always an improvement from the last," She continued 

"Things are not heading in the right direction on your planet. And you children are inheriting Earth's problems, and need to be able to fix them, sooner rather than later," Ojo said 

"It's in the best interest of the entire galaxy that life on Earth survives and thrives. So, we infiltrated both your government and Heroics headquarters so we could train you and accelerate the transfer of power," The president said 

"As you've seen from today's events, it's not enough to be strong, powerful, or even magic. If you do not use your strengths together and with good judgment...you are doomed," Ojo said 

"But I don't understand. The clock hit zero. We were one second too late," Wheels said 

"The supreme commander knew down to the second exactly when the takeover would happen," The president said pointing to Ojo

" Your guess was close, Wheels, but not quite right. Everything on the ship wasn't designed for children," Ojo said 

"Oh, it was designed by children," Wheels said in realization 

"Wait but what does this have to do with me and Wild Card?" Serena asked 

All the kids stared at them with a "seriously?" look on their faces 

"You guys fight like cats and dogs but worse way worse," Rewind said 

"Why do people keep saying that!" Wild Card said frustrated
