Chapter 8: Hide 'N Seek

-That morning-

-Tubbo's POV-

Waking up was the one thing I didn't want to do. The light was shining through the window as i sat up staring straight at Fundy who was shaking me violently. He was being obnoxious like Tommy when he had gotten up before me when it was a school day. Oh School, the one thing I won't miss. With the people I also won't miss either.

"TUBBO!!!!!" Fundy yelled in my ear. "Get up already!"

"Fine, I'm up anyway." Sitting up I shoved him away so I could actually get out of the bed, which wasn't hard at all.

"Good becuase were getting geared up to find everybody else!" He seemed perky, I don't blame him if we get to see everybody that we came to 'save'. 

"Ok cool..." I grabbed the door to see Tommy and Techno already outside in iron armor. Techno tossed me a full set and i slid it all on, the armor was as light as a feather?! I was expecting some weight, any weight to be honest. Even the sword he gave to me was light, though, it seemed more like a dagger that he gave me and Tommy had a bigger heavier looking sword. Techno had a axe that was diamond and looked as big as me and Fundy had a thin, almost katana like sword. Each sword seemed to match our skills it seemed like. 

I was definetly better at dodging and doing quick attacks, defencive, while Tommy would be able to use the sword to block and land heavy, hard blows, offensive at best. Techno's axe scared me, one hit and I would easily be dead plus I bet I couldn't lift it at all, totally a offensive weapon. Fundy's sword was best for dodging, like mine, but he could also block and make quick agile attacks, he seemed both defensive and offensive.

"Ok, let's go before it's mid day. By then we will have to start trying to find a good setup for camp, and Tubbo stop staring..." Techno groaned as he headed off towards the south of the meadow. I didn't realize I was just standing and staring until now, guess I get caught up in my thoughts sometimes. Tommy put his arm around my neck and smiled.

"It'll be fun Tubbo and if anything dares attack you," He squeezed my neck a bit. "Then I'll protect you!"

"Yep... If I'm still alive to protect." I mumbled as I shoved him away. Tommy just laughed and walked at my side as Fundy walked with Techno infront. Everything just seemed chill and calm, everybody just having a good time together. 

If only it could last forever

-Tommy's POV-

After all that had happened the night before we left, I felt uneasy being near Techno. Or Tubbo being near him either. Just knowing he was hiding something made me lose trust in him and I don't know if I can regain it until I know what he's hiding, but I'm not sure I want to know. If I should know. For right now I just need to keep a eye on Techno and keep a distance between Us.

"Tommy, you seem out of it?" I snapped out of my thoughts and smiled at Tubbo. If I could trust anybody, it was my little brother.

"Nah, I'm must thinking about some stuff. Don't worry about it."

"Uh, ok." He just smiled and looked around as we walked into a dark oak forest, weve been walking for about two hours now and have gone through the meadow biome, a plains, and now a dark oak forest. Nothing out of the ordinary yet.

"Guys, hold on." Techno stopped just at the edge as we passed by him. "We need torches it gets dark and mobs spawn like crazy." Ok, I was wrong. This was kinda NOT ordinary.
