Chapter 10: Trading with Traitors

-Tommy's POV-

When I woke up I saw a face staring down at me. Blinking so I could focus on who it was, I saw a white smiley face staring blankly at me!?

"WHAT THE F-" I fell off the bed startled, why was that thing looking at me like that?! Wait...

That thing looks familiar. Shit.

"Child what are you doing on the ground?" The man behind the mask chuckled. 

Dream.

"Nothing you scary peice of shit." Standing up, which I regret becuase my legs buckled. I toppled over with him helping me stand up. "Thanks blob." 

"I will drop you right now blonde. Becuase we have a long way to go before we get to our base."

"Your base?"

"Yeah, we have a base about a hundred blocks past the river then 400 or so to the left once we get to the village."

"How far from the SMP did you travel?"

"Very far, but I have a feeling one day we might have to go back..." He trailed off and started walking towards the rest of the people in the camp. Tubbo was with Fundy and I guess the idiot SapNap becuase of the bandana. While Techno was talking with the who I'm guess was Gogy. No Skeppy nor BaldBoyHalo in sight.

"I'm guessing everybody is here?" I asked, looking up at Dream. Why is he taller than me in this game, I'm supposed to be the tallest.

"Well, almost everybody... Not Skeppy."

"Why not Skeppy?"

"He's gone. So shut up." Yeesh, touchy much?

Out of the corner of my eye I saw a black mass sitting at the edge of the forest. After a moment I realized it was BadBoyHalo becuase of the red on his outfit. Why was he alone, usually he was happy with everybody and talking about muffins and that crap. Oh well, I'll probably figure that out later. Right noe there was more important things I needed to do. First-

Deal with the Pig.

"Dream, think I can talk with Techno for a bit?"

"Sure but were all packed up and ready so you can walk with him and talk. Now let's go, we were just waiting for you to wake up, lazy teenager." He snicker. That green bastard.

"Cool... Let's just go before I pop off and kill you." At the mention of that, he backed away nervously. I should really pick my words more carefully huh? "Sorry, I meant it as a joke, green boy."

"Yep. Just be careful next time... It's not good saying that stuff as a joke here."

I nodded, best to understand it now rather than later. With that he walked to a few others and told them we were all ready to go. Now was when I needed to talk with Techno, we had a lot to talk about and plenty of time to do it. So it was now or never.

Walking quickly, or as quick as my weak legs would let me, I went over to Techno who was grabbing his stuff. He only had food, a bed, and his axe. Nothing that interesting.

"Uh, hey Techno?" I mumbled, trying to get his attention.

"Heh? Oh Tommy, good to see you alive." He chuckled and turned around with his items all sorted.

"Think I can walk with you to their camp?"

"Yeah sure. Need somebody stronger than Tubbo to support your injured butt?"

"Oh shut up, I just thought it would be nice to chat with you like old times."

He just stood there thinking for a moment, what he was thinking about...

I don't know.

-Techno's POV-

Him just asking to walk with me, just like old times? It sounded great but maybe it's just because I'm paranoid but... I have a feeling he wants to talk about a lot more than he's saying right now. I guess it's best to just walk with him and get it over with, so yeah. I accepted to walk with him.

As the group set on ahead of us it went kind of like this; Dream in front with SapNap and George trailing right behind him, Tubbo and Fundy a little distance behind them just chatting, Tommy and Me in the middle almost back of the group because he was slow, and BadBoyHalo just walking behind us quietly he kept his head down most of the time, he was really scaring me.

"So Techno, what's it really been like in here? You know, with all the Minecraft stuff ending up being stronger than you." The Blond irritating boy smirked. 

"Well, it's not that bad when your still the strongest player here." 

"Oh really? Then what about that hacker, think you could PvP him and win?"

Shit, of course he brought that up. 

"I mean, if he didn't use his, er, hacks? Then probably."

"So right now you would get your butt kicked!"

"NO! I wouldn't."

"Yeah sure, Pig."

"Ok, Child."

"I'm not a child. I'm a man." Tommy puffed out his chest and walked without me having to hold his arm. He looked nothing like a man. He seemed more like one of those nerdy teens in high school.

"Nah, your just a nerd." I smacked him in the stomach and he bent over losing his breath. Guess I knocked the wind out of him, though, he deserved it.

"Not like I care."

We talked like this for about 2 hours before we made it past the village, we still had 2 hours of day light so we would travel about another 100-150 blocks before setting up camp. This trip was a lot faster than I thought it would be for how many of us there were. We just had to hope we could survive the night and then we were home free. At least that's what I hoped for.

-Tubbo's POV-

After awhile we stopped to set up camp about 100 blocks past the village. The trip was exhausting so I'm grateful we stopped at last.

"Everyone set up, we need 2 on guard incase any mob attacks or other things. Whos willing to guard first round then next?" Dream spoke in a serious tone, kind of scary to be honest.

"I'll take first round and so will Tubbo." Fundy said happily. Great, now I can't sleep till late.

"I'll take second..." Bad had stood up and spoke? Thought he had gone mute for awhile.

"Ok Bad, Fundy and Tubbo will wake you up at half rise." Dream nodded at Bad. "Everybody else have a good nights sleep."

I nodded, just me and Fundy for the night. Hopefully nothing goes wrong and maybe a mob or two attack...

Not the hacker.

Another Chapter done! School is so time consuming but I'm trying. Thank you all for being patient.
