Bridgette Eduarda Newton is a side character in my fanfic, Twisted Wonderland: Our Precious Treasure. A 'strange' girl who has a fascination with magical beings and loves photography. She's one of the youngest in the bunch and the first person to be recruited into the friend group called 'Shooting Stars', along with her three friends. She's very easy to be convinced and is always excited about new activities.

Personality: Bridgette is, for a lack of a better word, is a strange girl. She's often seen with a clueless look, as if she's confused with the world around her. She lacks self-consciousness and is not afraid to be who she is. She can be blunt and honest, speaking what's in her mind and often not thinking of other's feelings
Her manners of speech are also sometimes strange. She talks rather slow and often repeated the question as if she's still a little girl. She's also very easy to get distracted from something boring that doesn't revolve around herself.
She doesn't have many friends because of how difficult she is. Hanging out with her sometimes feels like hanging out with a child. She doesn't mind though, and instead chooses to be non-judgmental and accepting of those around her. However, once you become friends with her, she'll be your most loyal friend. She would trust and believe in you, even when everyone turns their back on you.
History: Bridgette was born in Radiant Haven, a small harbor town located near the Valley of Thorn. Her mother died when delivering her to the world, leaving her and her father, Franciscus. The man was a traveling merchant who sailed the dangerous sea. Knowing the danger of his travels, Franciscus didn't dare bring Bridgette along. He took care of her as a single parent, taught her everything he knew. Once Bridgette was old enough and was able to take care of herself (maybe around middle school age), Franciscus started traveling again, leaving Bridgette alone at home. He would send her letters and enough money so that she didn't need to worry about financial problems.
Unique Magic: Explosive Surprise, which allows her to sweats a nitroglycerin-like substance from her skin which she can detonate at will, producing explosions. However, because of her weak body, she would often get thrown back when launching his attack.

- His name is a combination of three words: Bridgette: derived from the noun brígh, meaning "power, strength, vigor, virtue"; Irish Goddess of Wells; Eduarda: 'guardian of riches', a feminine form of 'Edward'; Newton: 'new town', named after Issac Newton
- She's a rather sensitive child. She likes soft fabrics and a comfy bed. She doesn't like loud noises or the ticking of a clock.
- She sews her clothes herself because she can choose which fabric is her favorite
- Her favorite color is red.
- She doesn't like her unique magic that much because the explosion hurts her ears.
- Her headphones are actually noise-canceling headphones.
- Her camera is the type that can print out the photo instantly
- She has tons of scrapbooks filled with all her photos. She would often look through it again just for fun and recalling her memories
- She gets the nickname 'Bird' from herself. When she was little she had a hard time spelling her name, often writing it as 'Birdgette' instead of 'Bridgette'
- Her interest in magical beings started when she caught a glimpse of a unicorn galloping in front of her house but soon disappeared into the mist
- Her backpack is an enchanted backpack. She can carry ten things inside of it, no matter how big the things are, without feeling too heavy. You can cheat this by putting more than ten things inside a bag, then put them back inside her backpack. That still counts as one thing.
- She also has an enchanted map that can lead her to anywhere where she wants to go. However, the ways shown on the map can be the long-ways or the short-ways. Which way you will get is completely random
- Her main inspiration is Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter Series
- Her unique magic is basically Bakugou Katsuki's (My Hero Academia) quirk
- Her backpack and map is basically Dora's Backpack and Map
- Speaking of Dora, her birthday is the same day as the premiere of Dora the Explorer on Nickelodeon (14th August 2000)
