A new semester was beginning. Everyone was back to school. However, something drew more attention than the simple reunions of students and teachers.

A grid surrounding the entire building.

It was due to a new coeducational policy that had been created by the country's Ministry of Education: exclusive schools needed to adapt the entrance of students of the opposite sex as a way to increase their interaction to simulate the external environment of the school, as in places of employment. And in a way, it was also part of another measure, which wasn't very widespread, but which ended up being commented on by the general population. It was a policy to increase the country's birth rate. The numbers in this regard were already growing after the fall a few years ago and the country needed manpower for the future, so getting boys and girls to interact early on was a way of forming couples for the future and, consequently, making new families and children.

The Sakurazaka school started to enroll boys and suspended some stricter rules regarding haircuts. An employee was talking over the radio system about some of the new rules, which had become increasingly strict. At the end of his speech, he reinforced:

- Boys, stay away from girls' classrooms. And girls, if any boys harass you, report it to the Student Affairs inspector.

Yuuka walked in parallel with the grid there. She ran her hand over that metal fence while thinking about things when she saw the boys on the other side of the school. She ends up meeting the Habu nun further on, also facing that fence. The nun seemed not happy at all with that structure:

- Is this fence really necessary? - Yuuka comments while approaching her.

- It's ridiculous - The nun says in English and her tone of voice showed her disappointment.

Risa and her friends get close to Yuuka.

- Amazing! - Kobayashi speaks when she sees the grid.

Shida approaches Yuuka and realizes that the girl had cut her hair a little. Not missing the opportunity to speak, the girl runs her hand over Yuuka's hair and says:

- Did you cut your hair to get the boys attention?

Yuuka chuckles trying to disguise that that wasn't the real reason for the change in look. Risa approaches the fence, where two boys passed by, and tries to get their attention. Kobayashi and Shida do the same while Yuuka just watched. The boys end up not paying much attention to them and the three of them continue to try to get their attention. Yuuka turns around and sees Akane in the distance.

Upon realizing that the girl was looking at her, Yuuka smiles and walks towards her. When they're close, she realizes that Akane had let her hair grow, going against what most girls had done. Akane said:

- You cut yours. It's very beautiful - She says while holding Yuuka's hair.

Yuuka just smiles.

In the distance, Risa and the two friends look at that interaction.

- Damn, it's that weird girl again - Shida whispers.

Risa calls Yuuka by her name and the girl just turns around, not going towards her friend. The three go to her, Kobayashi pushes Akane lightly and the four friends move a little away.

- Be careful with that weirdo when you go to the S classroom - Risa spoke because it was the first time that her friends would be away from each other.
