"Yeah it was. Especially since I got to spend them with my best friend doing what I love to do." Skate says with a smile.
For some odd reason, my heart hurts. Like it pains me to hear him call me his "best friend." Believe me I LOVE being his best friend so I have no idea why I would be sad. This is weird....
I quickly recover and flash him a smile. "So yay, tomorrow's Christmas Skathan, and we get to spend it with our families."
"Hell yes. I'm so excited to see Stew, Kaylan, mom and dad and Kobe and the rest of the extended family." He smiles.
I love his smile. It makes me feel more confident and more hopeful.
"And I get to see everyone and Ozzie. I'm so excited." I grin. I can't wait to see my baby.... Ozzie. I'm his daddy. 😏😉 I love him. ❤️
"I can't wait to be back in my old bed."
"Amen to that. It's awkward laying in your bunk at night needing to jack off but knowing you can't because it might wake the others up." I laugh.
Skate just laughs at me. "Yeah.... Maybe."
"So, we're hanging out with the guys on New Year's Eve right?" I question, changing the subject from masturbating to NYE instead.
"Yup, then don't forget we got those two shows in D.C. and Chicago on the 29th and 30th. Then the New Year's Eve partyyyyyyyyy." He says, dragging out the word a bunch.
"Oh yeah. How could I forget? I'm so damn pumped for those shows too!" I say excitedly.
The rest of the flight, Skate and I discuss the rest of the year and plans for 2015. Finally, we're back to Omaha and we go our separate ways to spend the next two days with our families before we hangout with the Jacks.
I wonder what they've been up to?
