"ITS OFFICIAL! What's official? Have him and Skate finally realized their feelings for each other!?" I hear Jack shout from the other room at his house. His family is out last minute Christmas shopping right now so we've got the house to ourselves.
I laugh and walk out to join him. He's texting someone and he's got his perfect smile on his face. 😬
The smile drops off his face.
"What?" I ask him.
"Sammy tweeted 'it's official' so I thought it meant that him and Skate finally realized their feelings for each other and finally were gonna try a relationship out. Then I text Sammy and he just told me it's about Kendrea and not Skammy. Dammit!" He says disappointment clear in his voice.
"Don't worry. They're gonna come to their senses soon. I promise." I smile reassuringly, patting his back.
"I hope you're right."
"I am bab- buddy." I say quickly correcting myself.
"What was that?" Jack says with a smirk.
"Nothing." I say, feeling a blush creep up my cheeks.
"Sureeee. You can tell me ya know."
"Nahhhh." I say. Because if I tell you you're gonna laugh at me.
"I will not laugh at you Johnson." He laughs.
"Fuck. Fine. Okay I slipped and almost called you babe. Okay happy now?" I say, embarrassed that Jack now knows something I was hoping he'd never figure out.
He just stares at me, an unreadable look on his perfect face.
"What?" I question.
"Babe, aye?"
"Yes. Now shut up you asshole." I laugh.
"Does Johnson secretly want a piece of this?" He gestures to his body.
Yes. "No."
"Well maybe.... I want a piece of you." He says and gets up, closing the gap between us and presses his lips to mine.
