Chosen One

I started to panic my heart feeling like it would break through my chest. I pushed out with force "mom", from the shadow in the corner a quick flash and the shadow was gone. I sat with tears in my eyes as my mother busted into my room, "what's wrong Terrell are you ok?" I had to force my self to speak " I'm fine I just had a bad dream." She looks at me and kisses my head and says goodnight, walks out and closes the door and I just sit and stare at the wall in front of me with my knees to my nose and my arms around them. I sat paranoid for too hours until my body was too tired to stay awake and I fall asleep.

I wake up, it's close to the afternoon and what I had hoped would happen did not come true, I did remember last night and the memory was vivid. The thought gave me chills down my spine, I grab the remote and turn on the tv to get my mind off of it. " I think she was abducted," the lady I saw yesterday on the news said. I cut the tv off and thought, I've heard about alien abductions but always thought the person was lying, it's not possible no way they could be telling the truth. My phone rings, it's James, I answer it hello? Terrell?" I hear James voice and someone else breathing hard." "Peter?" I ask knowing that it is him but that's the obvious question to ask. " yeah" he said " Terrell we are freaking out right now, we both woke up with a blood from a puncture on our right."

My heart beat slowed down and began pounding hard, I became ice cold as the phone fell from my hand. This can't be real, I'm over thinking it its just a coincidence. Puzzled still I decide to not tell them that it had happened to me as well and what I saw so they wouldn't panic, I pick the phone up but quickly put it back down and press the speaker button because my hand started shaking uncontrollably.

"I don't know what it is maybe you guys fell when we were by the train tracks" I say to them with a calm tone. "Your right (James says it too easily as if he wanted any reason not to believe it was something else) but we still need to talk about what happened on the train tracks." I quickly make an excuse "not right now I have to clean, I'll call you guys back" I hang up only wishing that I could have told them what happened last night instead of keeping it in. I need answers.

I grab my laptop and open it to search for answers, hoping that I don't find them, I search google for real abduction stories. Some jokes, " they took me and teleported me to ya momma house and forced her to make cookies and milk." Wasn't actually funny but Ill laugh at anything to help make what i was thinking seem unreal, I moved on to the next story ... My eyes felt heavy and so did my breathing "I woke up with a hole on my side" ok no denying this now it can't be a coincidence.

I search up hole on side reports and missing people from Kansas. Hundreds of reports popped up dating years and years back, like hundreds of years, 1988,1862 ,1734, now I'm more intrigued than scared. The missing people dates matched the dates with the people who claimed they had wholes in their side. Is this really... abductions? Wait. Charlie, I thought as my eyes grew wide and tears came, could he have been abducted? No not Charlie, that can't happen to him. I search missing people return, zero results, ok let me think before I lose it. "Mom, has Charlie's mom called you again?" "No why" "no reason" I yell back as I began to worry. I need to sleep this off I can't think of this right now or I'll go crazy, I lay down and close my eyes.

I wake up to a soft calm whispering, I look around my room again in a panicky manner to see nothing "come outside" I hear but where is it coming from? I get up and walk to my window to see if there is anything outside, nothing. I go back to my bed, "don't be afraid, come outside" the voice is in my head, and it's not mine. I put on some jeans and a shirt and start to go down the steps to go outside, maybe I'm just tired, maybe I just need to go outside so I can get back and bed and go to sleep.

I'm suspicious but I actually feel comfortable, my body feels like it needs to go outside, that I'll feel better when I get out my house. I open my house door and take a few steps , nothing though the cool fresh air does feel good. I turn around to go back in and I feel heat above me I look and I see a huge ufo hovering over me and before I could move a bright beam of light came down over me.

I my eyes began to focus as I look around, 3 tall long armed and legged huge black eyed aliens are staring at me, the room we are in is completely white and empty. We are staring at each other my heart beating so loud I'm pretty sure they can hear it. My stomach makes me feel like I'm about to vomit and I feel like I'm going to faint. Then I hear 3 faint whispers say welcome chosen one.
