Loved

I hug her broken body, as she shutters in my arms
I take her bloody knife away, to keep her from self harm

I hug her tightly, as she cries her self to sleep

I look to the heavens and wish, that this wasn't to be
I feel my heart break for her, as she cries some more

I hold her closer as as she shakes, and sobs, and is broken to her core
Oh how I wish, this didn't happen, to such a lonely little girl

I hug her tight, and whisper in her ear
It'll be all right you know I'm always here

You don't need to be afraid
You don't need to feel alone
You don't need to be ashamed
You will always be protected

And always remember,
You are loved
