Drops of Pain

Burning hot tears stream down my face.
I'm blinded by misery and pain.

As I sit there crying, drops of pain gather at my feet.
As the tears collect I feel myself drowning.

My tears flow as a river through the canyons.
My chest in flames as my heart starts to crumble.

Shattered and broken into millions of pieces.

The world moves past me so slowly then quick.
The world spins on and on until I grow dizzy.

I'm surrounded by people yet I'm all alone.
I melt into the background yet I always
stand out.

My shyness masking my screams.
My tears are never ending, flowing behind my eyes.

A smile plastered on my face while water floods my soul.
