The Stars in the Sky

The Dance.

It was my last period of school, and the dance is tonight, 8:00 p.m.-1:00 a.m. As I was walking to my last class, and Jason was looking right at me. Ok Kasumi, avoiding solves every problem. I practically say anything solves every problem, but I'm sure this one is true. So I just walked away. But then he called my name.... "Kasumi!" Jason called. Darn it! I cuss less now btw. Celrbrate! Yes, that was random.

I walked to him casually. "Yeah?" I replied. "I was wondering, are you and that other singer...." Jason started out. "Chris?" I asked. "Yeah. Chris, like, dating?" Jason finished. "No...  Why?" I replied. Then Jason looked around the hall, and put his right hand on the back of his neck, and explained nervously, "Yeah, the real question is, I was... You know, just wondering if, you would.. Go, to um, the dance with me?...."

I froze. What. The crap. "We barely know eachother.." I replied. "Yeah. I know, and so wish that wasn't true. But we can get to know eachother there then?" He replied with a shrug. "Um, sure," I answered non-chalantly. Just wait until everyone knows this.

Jason smiles and immediately walks to Caleb. Walk away fast now! And I did.

                 ~After last class~
Omg, I couldn't concentrate at all! All I thought about was Jason. Misaki ran to me. "Omg Kasumi, why didn't you tell me?!" She yelled. "About what?" I asked. "You and Jason!!" Misaki replied back. "Who told you?" I questioned. "Caleb told everyone including Himeno, she told the gang," Misaki replied. I put my face in my hands and muffled through them, "I was gonna tell you..."

Misaki patted my back. "I feel bad for your life," she pittied. I then lifted my head to see the rest of the gang running to me. Himeno being the, er, most Himeno-est. "KASUMI AIRISU! Get over here right now!" Himeno ordered loudly. I turned the other direction and saw Jason.

"That's a nice last name," he complimented. "Thanks, now RUN!" I exclaimed and ran to my car. When I reached it, I immediately grabbed my key and unlocked the door. But I noticed something else in my pocket.

I found a note with... Jason's number?! What the frick? How did he do that?! Oh well, questions later. I drove off. Oh my gosh SOOO much drama.

~4 hours later, 2 more hours untill the dance~

I sat at my house, drinking a mango pinapple smoothie. I looked at my clock on my phone. It's time to get ready. I lazily got up and put my dress on, put on maskara and red lip gloss. I then put in blush and base. And black boots. I put on a black head band and straightened my hair. I brushed my teeth again and threw a mint in my mouth.

As I walked to my car, my phone vibrated. Misaki texted me a picture of her. The text said, "Do you think Chris will like it?" I texted back, "He will LOVE it." I jumped in my car. Then Kiyomi practically texted the same thing. When I got to the dance, I was a nervous wreck.

I walked around and saw my gang talking to eachother. I walked up to them. Misaki stared at me. "Kasumi, is that you?" She asked. "Um, yeah," I replied. Misaki squeled and hugged me. "YOU LOOK WONDERFUL!!" She exclaimed. "Hiiiii," Kiyomi greeted and Johnathan waved. Shou wasn't here and Himeno said, "You look different."

Then someone in a tuxedo with flippy brown hair and an unbeatable smile walked to me. Jason. How do you breathe again? "U-um hi," I shyly stuttered. He held his hand out. "Wanna actually meet my friends?" Jason offered. I took his hand and walked with him wavinh bye to my friends. "Anyone wanna stalk Kasumi?" I heard Himeno asked behind me.

Jason lead me to his friends. Bailey was talking about how he was dating a girl for only two days and how she broke up with him. I wonder why.

Then everyone stopped talking when they saw Jason and I. "Nice," Colen compliments. Bailey stares and Caleb puts on an evil grin. "So you finally won that girl. How come I can't complete MY dreams?" Caleb asked and looked at Himeno.

I then put my hands in the air. "Woah woah woah. You like Himeno?" I asked. Caleb stayed silent. "She's been crushing over you ever sense she saw your face!!" I exclaimed. "Sounds like someone," Colen joked and nudged Jason.

"What about that one?" Colen asked, pointing at Misaki. "She's dating Chris," I replied. "And her?" Bailey asked, pointing at Kiyomi. "Dating Johnathan," I explained.

"So you got lucky," Colen told Caleb. Caleb gave a half smile. And then I remembered something. "She already knows.." I explained. "WHAT?!" Caleb said. I took a step to the left and turned around. "Did I mention she's a stalker?" I asked as I look at Himeno who was behind me.

*Akward silence*

"Talk to him!" I whispered yelled to Himeno. "I barely know him!" She whispered back. "Say hi if you wanna live," I replied. I don't really do that often. For some reason, even when I never killed or physically hurt anyone, she thinks I'll kill her if she makes me mad.

"HI!" She immediately greeted. "Hi," Caleb replied shyly. "Do you know Yugioh?" Himeno asked. "Yeah," Caleb replied. Omg it is her soul mate! They got in a whold conversation.

Then slow music played. Oh, no!! Please don't ask, please don't ask. Why am I even telling myself this?

Jason looked at me and flipped his hair with a sweet smile. "You wanna, uh, dance?" He asked. I nodded nervously. We then did the waltz dance. ((Don't judge, I really don't know what the heck it is called. ))

"So, uh, your band actually made it's own song?" Jason asked. "Yeah, I just made the lyrics as I went," I explained. "And the act?" Jason asked sternly. "Practically the whole band's idea," I replied. "Oh, and how did he end up with Misaki?" Jason wondered. "Me. He was.sort of a player. Coming to Misaki and I. But I forced him to stay with Misaki because she has been crushing over him," I explained. "That's nice of you," Jason replied with a smile. "Girl code," I replied.

The song ended and Jason looked down anf then at me. I saw my friends walking towards me. Probably wondering how things are going right now in my life. "Can I do something I always wanted to?" Jason asked. "And what's that?" I asked. "This," Jason said. He pulled me foward and like, gave me a real kiss. It was like those kisses in romace stories. A kiss you don't want to ever end.
