Quinlan's Prov.
After talking to Amber at lunch one of my foxfire flew by the window. I walked to the bathroom and the fire appeared in front of me. "You seem worried," I said.
'Shadows...dangerous...animal...skull...scary...sounds' it whispered as fast as it could.
"Thank you, keep an eye on it for now," I said and it flew off. I went and found Gale with the ten demigods. Gale was sulking about something but he gave a soft smile when he saw me. "What's going on?" I asked.
"What do you want?" Annabeth asked.
"Not you, I was asking Gale," I said.
"It's nothing," he said.
"If it was nothing then you wouldn't be sulking,"
"I'm fine," he said.
"If you say so, I was just coming to tell you I'm going to need my Wind Element tonight...storm mostly, but still." Gale brightened up and hugged me tightly. "Gale, get off of me," I said and he let go. "Just be ready Windy," I said and walked off.
~That Night~
Gale and I were ready to go find the shadow element when the doorbell rang. "Who is that?" I asked Gale and he shrugged. I opened the door and saw the nine half and half. I quickly slammed the door and locked it. I turned to Gale and we left through a fox portal. On the other side of the portal, there were dark and spooky woods that made you shiver. I made foxfire to help light up the dark night.
We walked around and it started to get darker and darker. Something reached for my hand and I flipped whoever it was over. I saw Gale right there in front of me before he was dragged off. I ran after him but I lost sight and I was all alone. I couldn't sense where he or the shadow element was at.
I started walking slowly hoping to find a sound that would tell me where to look. I heard Gales screams for help so I ran in that direction to help my friend. I ran straight into a creature with an animal skull on its head. 'A Wendigo' I thought to myself. The Wendigo looked at me and I held up a ball of foxfire and it looked at the ball in awe. I smiled at the creature and talked to it.
Storm clouds appeared and thunderstruck right next to me. The Wendigo grabbed me and ran off, we were now in a cave and the Wendigo sat down next to me after changing into its humanoid form. "Are you hurt?" he asked.
"No, but what did you do to my friend?" I asked.
"Don't worry about that human, he won't hurt you," the Wendigo said with a smile.
"Your very sweet," I said and explained about the elements. "Will you come with us?" I asked. He jumped up and grabbed my hands.
"I'd follow you to the ends of the earth!" he said. "Oh! My name is Damian Moon,"
"I'm Quin Fox," I said as we walked out. Gale came running up to us and gave me a big hug.
"I thought you were dead! I'm sorry, I didn't mean to almost hit you!" he whined.
"I'm fine, what about you?" I asked and he nodded. "This is the dark element or Damian Moon, Damian this is the wind element or Gale Storm," I introduced them.
"Him!?" they both yelled. I wasn't going to deal with the two so I opened a portal and stepped through. The doorbell rang and I felt Amber's presence so I let her in.
"Is that offer still up?" she asked.
"You're the fire element, you are always welcome here!" I said happily and hugged her. I heard the two boys growl at her. "Don't mind these two ideots flee bag!" I said to her. The two boys snickered.
