We managed to get to the church after what felt like ages of walking. Once we walked in, we were greeted with not only Rich and Grace, but David Blood and his wife. The rest of our group was already there, all standing in front of the two of them, "Look at what this motley crew has done to our little girl," He pointed at us all, I scanned the group, noticing how we were all messed up, clothes ripped up, we reeked of beer, so it wasn't a pretty sight.
"I am not your little girl!" Grace argued with her father.
Her mother reached out, touching her husband's arm, "Her future's her's, David, not ours," She spoke in a soft tone, she was attempting to calm down her husband.
Blood narrowed his cold stare on us, "You... You corrupters are all expelled!"
"What?" I let out a scoff, shaking my head.
Nick stepped forward, "You can't do that, sir," His voice was hoarse, he was also walking with a limp. But, even in his messed up state, he was standing up for us.
Blood looked over at him, looking him up and down, laughing to himself, "Oh, look, how the mighty have fallen."
Nick shrugged his shoulders, not taking the insult to heart, "You I fell down a f... freaking k-hole actually, but these guys caught me," He pointed over towards us, I was the one to give him a reassuring smile as he stood up for himself and the others, "It's what mates do, cause it's screwed up out there, I don't know if you've been outside lately, but it is... But, we have a go, whatever comes, we have a good go at it, cause it's all we can do.
Grace's mother seemed content, she was smiling at us as she listened to Nick ramble, Blood on the other hand straightened out his posture, "Right," He said to us, "So be it, but we shall take no further part in this ridiculous melodrama," Blood straightened out the wrinkles on his shirt and walked away towards the door, Grace's mum stayed behind, giving her daughter a reassuring smile, "Sonia!" Blood called out for her, she quickly rushed away, leaving with her husband.
Rich let out a sigh, turning around to look at Grace, "So, are we going to, you know, get married?" He questioned her, sounding unsure.
She reached up, putting her hands on his shoulders, she gave him a smile, "Don't ever cut your hair again."
"Not gonna."
"You're still my metal man, my own Tin Man..." She put a hand on his cheek, sweetly.
"So, things are good, right, with us?" He asked her, she nodded, "So, do we really need to change things... You could just take me to be your boyfriend."
"Totally."
After that, we all exited the church, once Alo stepped outside, he looked up at the sky, "I sense merriment afoot!" He shouted out, then he took off running down the path, sniffing the air around him.
"Fuck's sake! I can't walk anymore, can't we just relax?" I shouted at him, the others all grouped up to follow him, "Of course not."
"Let's go!"
"Where the fuck are you going!"
As we followed him, I felt someone brush up to walk next to me, I turned my head to look at who it was, "I had him first," Liv said to me, I looked back forward at Matty who was next to Nick, "I know you know that..." Liv sighed, she took a quick drag of her cigarette, "I don't blame you, you know. He fell in love with you the moment he laid eyes on you, and I can't blame him for that, you have that effect on people," I opened my mouth to speak, but Liv still had something to say, "Just don't let him hurt you, Vi... I mean, you have so many people on your side, I would be afraid he wouldn't make it out alive," She finally looked at me, letting out a small laugh.
"Come on, Liv," I said to her, "We have a reception to go to for this not-so-wedding," I grabbed her hand, holding onto it as we caught up with the others to see where Alo was guiding us.

We were at some little fair, I ended up sitting down next to Rich, he had a pint sitting in front of me, "Alright?" He greeted me as I sat down, reaching for a glass.
I nodded, looking over to Grace who was sitting and chatting with Mini and Liv, they were giggling and sharing some cake, "You make her so happy," I told him, my voice quiet. Everything felt different to me, everyone was growing closer and sometimes I felt like I was being pushed away, "She's always been there for me, you know?" I pushed my glass away from me, looking down at it, "Is it weird that I just get so afraid she's going to go away and I will never see her again?"
"I think everyone is afraid of that happening with the people they love," Rich said, looking down at his hands, "It's normal."
"It's just- not matter what I do, or what's happening... She is there for me, she doesn't let me feel alone, that's just so crazy to me," I laughed quietly, looking back up to look over at Grace, "I just remember this time when Mini and I got into a huge fight, it was a year or two back, I was swearing up and down I was done with her, I was never going to speak to her, that kind of shit, Mini was just being horrible to me... And of course Liv was on her side. But, Grace showed up at my house at midnight, she spoke to Mini all day to find out what was going on, and I guess I said some shit about Mini to someone and she found out and got upset. Grace did everything to mend us back together, and it all worked out."
"Yeah, she's just loving like that, isn't she?"
"Yeah, yeah she is... She has always changed our group for the better, always smiling and radiating good energy... I mean, obviously that was one of the reasons I made a pact I would marry her if we never found someone," I laughed sadly, looking back down at my glass.
Rich leaned over a bit, nudging my shoulder, "Have you happened to find your person yet?" He raised a brow, motioning over to Matty who was busy talking to Nick. I watched as they took some shots, smiling to myself.
"Maybe... I don't know, I haven't really had another chance to get him alone to speak to him."
"Another? You cheeky bastard."
"Oh, hush, Richard," I rolled my eyes, smiling. That was when I noticed Matty approaching us.
"Uh, mind if I steal her for a moment, Rich?" Matty asked Rich as soon as he was in front of us.
"Of course, be my guest," Rich said, I got up, following Matty to the back of the party. We sat down on a bench, watching the others all chatting and drinking for a second in silence.
"So... What's the occasion, Matty?" I questioned him, sipping on my drink.
"I,uh, I guess I want to figure out what we're going to do... About us?"
I tilted my head to the side thoughtfully, "What do yo mean?"
"Well, I would like- do you want to be- uh, together?"
"You're cute when you're all flustered," I teased him.
"I am not- fine..."
"Of course I want to be with you, Matty."
