Why?
Why is it that after something is said so many times it loses meaning?
Phrases like:
I love you.
Everything will be ok.
You are strong.
You are smart.
You mean everything to me.
I’d do anything for you.
You are never alone.
Just breathe.
Your demons can’t hurt you.
I’m always here for you.
You are beautiful.
These phrases mean nothing.
NOTHING!
The world has taken such beautiful things and ripped them to shreds.
I don’t know what to believe.
Why? You may ask.
Because everything has lost its meaning from how much it is said.
