They were just two overburdened teens that were forcibly thrusted into a the care of a sobriety clinic by their overbearing, if not toxic and cold, parents. But, then, after they got out of the sobriety clinic, one thing just lead to other; the pair had a very messy drunken fling. Eventually, that lead them to having a daughter. A baby girl that change everything about them. It made Kaiya go fully clean, while on the other hand, it at least made Klaus somewhat cleaned up his drug use and made him at least act semi responsible for the little girl. They were good parents without a doubt. Klaus and Kaiya were definitely not perfect parents, but, they we're very loving and supporting parents...But, like always, things took a turn for the worst when their daughter was murdered years later. Now, bring things forward to the present day, where Klaus has to try to convince Kaiya to help them save the world from the apocalypse after ignoring her for years.
