Ian's eyes lights up as soon as he sees her enter the room but it's quickly replaced as a frown upon seeing that she's with someone else. He takes a deep breath and shakes his head. He saw the guy sits on one of the chair while she walks to the table where Dawn, one of their closest friends in biz, is seated. 

He just stood there, watching every movements that she's making, gathering a lot of strength to approach her; he did when she meets his gaze. 

She gives him a soft smile and he does, too. She nods her head at him in which he takes as his go signal; he heaves a sigh before making his way on where she is. 

 " You're here, " he tells her as he places a hand on her waist. 

 " Good evening naman sa'yo, 'no? " She replies with a chuckle, teasing him. 

 " Good evening, you're here, " he says in a low voice, flashing a soft smile. 

 " Hi, " she teases, " bawal ba ako rito? " She asks. 

 Ian shakes his head and gently caresses her waist. 

 " I didn't say that, I was just surprised that you made it, " 

 " For experience lang, " she chuckles. 

 " I'm glad seeing you here, " 

 " I'm glad to be here, " she replies, taking a glance on the person that she's with. 

 Ian notices that and follows her gaze, shaking his head. 

 " You're beautiful, you really look so good in white, 'no?" Ian says softly, flashing a smile at her. 

Alice looks up to him and squints her eyes, those words brings back a lot of memories — memories that she's trying so hard to keep — to let it remain as itself. 

 Alice came out from the room, wearing a simple white gown with a smile on her face. 

 " What do you think? " She asks her friend, Dawn, who's texting someone on her phone. 

Dawn looks at her and was about to say something when someone knocks then enters the room, saying " Wow, you look wonderful, " he's wearing a big smile on his face. Both of the women's gaze turns at the direction of the person who talked and Alice's cheeks turns red upon seeing who the person is. 

" You're not allowed to be here, " Alice tells him, Dawn can only shakes her head. 

" Bakit ba, na-miss kita, eh. Tsaka, hindi naman tayo ang ikakasal ha — hindi pa, so bakit bawal kang makita?" Ian replies, asking her a question. 

Alice rolls her eyes and shakes her head, smiling eventually. 

" Hay naku, nambola pa! " 

" Hindi, ha! " Ian defends himself. " But seriously, Jessie, you look great, right, Rach? " he utters, looking at Dawn, asking her, in which the latter agrees on. 

" Yeah, you look just amazing, babe, " Dawn complimented her best friend with a smile.

" Thanks, " Alice thanked her with a smile on her face, too.

" See? I told you, baby, it suits you. You look beautiful wearing white, " Ian says with a soft tone that makes Alice's heart flattered.

She pursed her lips as she squints her eyes before looking away. She then looks at him again with a sly smile on her face. 

" Too good to be your wife, 'no? " Alice asks, trying to sound okay.

And it's now Ian's turn to look away. Alice chuckles a little bit as she simply removes Ian's grip on her waist but Ian wouldn't budge.
