THE SALVATORE HOUSE MYSTIC FALLS
"Oh, you've got to be shitting me."
Jenna Salvatore was going to lose her mind. She'd walked into the sitting room of her house, cup of coffee in hand, fully intent on trying to process the events of the previous days, when she saw the vampire who had kidnapped her standing in her living room. On her nice rug.

Jenna opened her mouth to snap a remark at the girl, but Stefan shot her a look and Jenna merely hissed at him angrily, baring her teeth, before sitting down next to Elena, who had apparently also been ambushed by this little morning party.
"Okay, you have to understand," Rose began, arms folded across her chest. "I only know what I've picked up over the years and I don't know what's true and what's not true. It's the problem with all this vampire crap but Klaus...I know he's real."
"Who is he?" Elena asked.
"Yeah," Jenna seconded. "Let's meet this asshole."
Stefan shot her another look, and Rose continued on. "He's one of the Originals. A legend."
"From the first generation of vampires," Stefan supplied.
"Like Elijah?" Elena asked.
"No. Elijah was the Easter Bunny compared to Klaus. He's a foot soldier. Klaus is the real deal."
"Klaus is known to be the oldest."
"Okay," Elena said. "So, you're saying that the oldest vampire in the history of time is coming after me?"
"Yes," Rose said at the same time as Stefan uttered the word, "No."
Jenna snorted. "Gee, thanks for the clear picture."
"What they're saying is," Damon said, moving past Jenna's words, "I mean, if what she's saying is true--"
"Which it is."
"--And you're not saying it so I don't kill you--"
"Which I'm not."
"--Then we're looking at a solid maybe," Damon finished.
