The boy with brown hair and green eyes that had a facemask on who was only supposed to drop his sister off for her flight met the girl who was sitting down in the rain as she watched people pass her by.
As he continued to watch her and question her actions, their eyes had met for a second before the girl looked away, looking back in front of her as the rain carried on.
"What are you doing out here in the rain? You'll get sick if you keep this up." said the unknown boy.
"I enjoy the rain, so sitting as it pours down on me is relieving. I'm just living in the moment."
"But you're getting wet. No one likes having wet clothes on them, that's just gross."
"But you could never feel as free as I am right now, sitting in my wet clothes as the sky cries tears of some emotion."
"What kind of psychological stuff is going on with you?"
"It's not psychological, dummy. Do you mean philosophical?"
"Same thing. Anyways, do you need to be somewhere, or do you just enjoy getting weird stares from people by sitting in the rain?"
"I'm waiting for my father to pick me up. What are you doing here?"
"I'm dropping off my sister. She's going off to college so I have to say goodbye."
"Then you should get going, I see my father's car here so I'm about to leave. Don't want people giving you weird stares as you're just standing out here in the rain, now do you?"
"Whatever. At least take my umbrella. My sister has another one which I'll just take from her."
"Um, sure. Well, I'll get going now, don't want to keep my father waiting any longer now."
"Hey wait, I never got your name."
"Well mystery man, if you must know, I'm y/n l/n, and I must be going now. It was nice talking to you. Perhaps we'll see each other soon."
"But I never told you my name. Don't you want to know?"
"We'll meet again, so tell me your name the next time. Let's make it a surprise. See you later mystery man."
As the girl walked to her father's car, who knew she was going to her new school in Hyogo, Japan, and it just so happened to be Inarizaki High.
