A/n: hello my fellow readers here is the next chapter to this story, sorry for not updating this in a while. but here it is now enough of me let the chapter begin!
Y/n's pov
after we returned to Earth me along with many troops of 600 that consist of combat engineers, infantry and special forces. I was one of the special forces that was chosen for it, but my armor and weapons were a lot more different than the others, my armor is on the level of marine grade armor and my rifle is modded with burst fire and full auto. lastly my side arm is a special revolver of my own design.

as I was walking to one of the drop ships I notice some of the people going to Earth were standing in front of one of Metphies people praying, but I pay no mind to them and let them believe what they want to and continue to my seat. once I was in my seat I heard Colonel Leland's voice through the P.A of the drop ship.
Colonel Leland: {This is Colonel Elliot Leland, Commander of the Earth Landing Brigade. Everyone, continue your tasks and listen. All 600 gathered here are the chosen elite forces who have decided to give their lives to fight against Godzilla.}
Y/n: [So, Godzilla is alive. After all these years and he hasn't kicked the bucket yet.]
Colonel Leland: {Everyone correctly understands that there will be no constructive outlook if your trapped in an old society. Instead of a fake promised land, we will take back our homeland, and promise prosperity to the next generation. For the sake of humanity's fate, I look forward to everyone's efforts.}
Y/n: [Here we go.]

Y/n: [Again with that voice? I hope I find some sort of answers back on Earth.]
as I feel the drop ship begin it's course to land for a surface on Earth I placed my helmet on and brace myself for any bumps on the road down.

after we landed on the planet I was with Companies A and B helping in unloading the supplies that we brought, but I then get a call on the comms.
Elliot: {Weapons specialist Y/n L/n, I want you to accompany one of the scout teams to investigate the planet's environments.}
Y/n: *replies on the comms* Roger that. Who are in one of the teams?
Elliot: {You'll be with Martin Lazzari, Weapons Sargent Yuko Tani and Haruo Sakaki.}
Y/n: *replies on the comms* Roger. I'll go and meat up with the team.
after I place the supplies I was carrying to their proper placement, I drew my rifle and go to meet up with the team. but what shocked me was that my step brother Haruo was on this mission, but I shock out of my thoughts as got to the team to see Martin Lazzari even though he's wearing a helmet I can perfectly describe his facial details as a mature man of the group who loves to study things.
