"Hi, I'm Cely." She smiled at the camera, "I'm twenty years old and I'm from Redcar." She looked behind her and saw that they're showing her Instagram account on the screen. She laughed loudly when they were showing funny pictures and videos of her with her friends. Her name was also displayed in pink letters.
"I'm studying medicine right now but I do own a café in our own little town." She giggled.
What's your ideal type?
"I don't really have a type." She looked at the corner, "But I guess if I have to say something, I'd say someone older than me? Taller than me and someone funny." She said, "And of course someone who loves me and cares for me, genuinely." She said while nodding.
"But really, I'm thinking of the boys that I've liked before and," she trailed, "They're not all that." She gestured her hand, drawing a circle. "I've liked someone a year younger than me and someone shorter than me, so yeah." She laughed.
"I'm really going in here without looking for something specifically, like you know, I'm coming in here with an open mind without limiting the people that I want to meet base on their looks and all. And I'll look more into their personality rather than looks actually."
How long have you been single?
"I've been single for two years now. And within those two years, I didn't really tried dating or getting to know other people, in a romantic way."
The producers asked if no one tried to flirt with her and date her and she laughed. "Well, some tried, but I wasn't really in the mood?" She scrunched her face then laughed.
"I was enjoying my time alone and I was contented with being single and just thinking about dividing my time for my family, friends and myself."
Why did you come here on Love Island?
"My siblings and aunt actually signed me up for this saying that I should go out there and meet other people." She laughed, while shaking her head. "Then coincidentally, I got scouted on my way back home from school and so here I am." She shrugged.
"I've watched a few seasons of Love Island and I'm really happy for those who found someone they want to spend the rest of their lives with inside the villa. And I guess, I'm hoping I'll be one of those lucky people?" She giggled.
