Chapter 19

"Nnghh... What is happening.."

Baekhyun's mind is little disoriented but he can feel someone was carrying him. He slowly opened his eyes only to gasp at the sight before him.

Taehyung is carrying him. But what shocked him was the frightening red eyes of taehyung. His eyes widened and fear surfaced his mind. He began to whimper in fear and confusion.

Hearing the sound made by the little one taehyung looked at him. His heart crushed when he saw baekhyun cowering with fear.

The thing he feared was happening now. He don't want to reveal himself to baekhyun. Baekhyun will surely hate him.

That's why he always stayed hidden and only watched from afar. The moment he got to know baekhyun is his brother, he would frequently visit him in his old town without him knowing.

He stalked baekhyun from the age ten. He made sure baekhyun is safe and sound. He was happy when baekhyun came to his town and befriended him. He thought he is fine by staying as his friend. As long as he is with baekhyun nothing matters.

Now his brother is fearing him. He remembered his father's words.

" Taehyung you and baekhyun are from different worlds. You can't be with baekhyun. I made mistake by loving your mother, who is a human. The mistake that now endangered baekhyun and your mother."

" Humans don't belong with beasts "

Taehyung glared hatefully when he thought about those last words.

' if humans didn't belong with beasts , then why would baekhyun have to be mate for those beasts. I won't allow that '

He got out of the castle and looked at his pack.

" Leave! Don't stay in this perimeter. Its too dangerous. If they caught you, please surrender. Fighting with them only would cause us to lose life"

They all shattered and began to run.

Taehyung looked at baekhyun who is still crying from the fear. He struggled against taehyung and got out of his hold. He pointed a accusing finger at him.

" Y..you are also l...Like them! Aren't you? You are n..Not h.. Human!"

"Baek, please come with me. We have to leave"

Baekhyun looked at taehyung and shook his head stubbornly. He can't trust taehyung. He lied to him.

Taehyung sighed resignedly. He promised his father that he would never reveal himself to baekhyun. But he don't have choice in this matter.

He can't run with his human form, it will delay him. He have to take his wolf form. He know baekhyun will get scared but he can't waste more time. Not when baekhyun's life is at stake.

Baekhyun screamed loudly when he saw taehyung changed into a ferocious wolf. The sound of bone crackling is sick. Baekhyun's heart shattered when he saw his best friend standing before him as a beast.

" Get away from me monster!!"

Baekhyun's words stabbed him right in his heart. But he can't lose his resolve. Not now.

" Get on my back!"

" No!"

Baekhyun tried to run but taehyung pounced on him. Taehyung dragged his claws on the ground, scaring baekhyun.

" Don't force me to hurt you. Now get on my back!"

Baekhyun looked at him with betrayal and hurt but obeyed him without a word. Baekhyun clutched the brown fur tightly when taehyung sprinted into the direction of the river with maddening speed.
