Chapter 4

"baek! Baek wake up! It's morning already"

"Ahhhh" with a loud scream he woke up. He looked up to see jungkook looking at him confused.

"Baek why did you sleep alone in this couch. I told you to share with me"

Baekhyun looked at him dumbfounded. Everything is confusing for him.

"You dumb puppy! You slept all alone without blanket. It was cold previous night" jungkook looked concerned.

"K..kookie? You fainted"

"Huh? Me? What are you talking about? I didn't faint. Did you had any nightmare. you look so pale"

' did i had one of my nightmare? But it seems so real. Still i can feel their hands on my body'

" Baek you gave whole course meal to the mosquitoes. See your body is littered with so many bruises".

Baekhyun looked at jungkook
"How come the mosquitoes didn't bite you"

"Because i had my blanket" jungkook said with a 'duh' tone.

Baekhyun sighed, it seems legit though.

"Shit baek, we are late for school"
Jungkook yelled while running through the door.

All confusing thoughts left Baekhyun.
He ran behind jungkook. Before he could step outside a voice called him
"Our little mate"

Baekhyun looked behind, but there is only empty hallway.

"Baek what's taking you so long"

Baekhyun threw one last look at the castle and began to follow jungkook.

At the gate stood, angry jimin and worried Taehyung. When Taehyung saw Baekhyun he ran to him and hugged him. "Baek are you alright? Did anything happened? I am so worried about you".

Jungkook smirked at jimin
"Told you there is no such thing as ghost. The castle is empty"

Jimin sighed " Maybe there is no ghosts in the castle but ghosts are real". 

Seeing them about to argue Taehyung dragged them to the car
"We are getting late. Let's go"

At school

Baekhyun was walking to his next class when he crashed into a hard chest. He looked up to see a face smirking at him. It was Jackson Wang.

Ever since he joined this school Jackson bugged him to no end.
It went from light teasing to showing him into empty rooms and trying to molest him.

"Well well, isn't it my little puppy"

"Leave me alone Wang"

Jackson grabbed his arm painfully
"Avoiding me, baek? And don't hang around with that Taehyung much.
Your boyfriend is getting jealous".

"What Jackson? You are not my boyfriend and I won't leave Taehyung. He is my friend"

Jackson pushed him to the wall harshly. Soon his little body was pressed by Jackson's hard one.

"You are my boyfriend Baekhyun.
You can't escape from me. I won't give your pretty ass to anyone"

He began bite baekhyun's white neck, making him cry. Soon he was yanked from his body.

"I told you, not to touch him"
Taehyung yelled at him while keeping Baekhyun close to him.

Jackson moved to place punch on Taehyung but interrupted by a teacher "No fighting in school".

"Don't think you are escaped from me Baekhyun. I will come for you"

After Jackson's departure, Baekhyun broke down to cry in taehyung's arms.

Taehyung hugged him to comfort him.
After that they both went to their classes.

After school, Baekhyun was getting ready for his work, when he received a call from Taehyung.

"Baek!!"

Hearing his panicked voice Baekhyun began to worry.

"Relax tae. Tell me what happened?"

"Baek your boss is dead!"

Baekhyun's eyes widened.
' how come? Yesterday he was fine"

Even though he was mean to Baekhyun, he gave him a job.

"How tae?"

"Don't know baek. His death is mysterious. He found at the forest near that creepy castle. They found claw marks on his body"

' claw marks? maybe wild animals '

Baekhyun sighed
"Guess i have to look for new job"

"Baek!! There is a mysterious murder in our town, all you thinking about is
Getting new work"

After finishing the phone Baekhyun went to watch telivision.

Suddenly Baekhyun noticed something. His mother's locket is missing. He began to cry

"No it can't be, it was my mum's last gift"

He frantically began to search for the locket all over his house. But there is no sight of his locket.

He felt disappointed with himself.
This locket was so precious to him.
First he lost his mother, now her locket too.

"I am such a bad son"

He clenched his fist with determination. He promised his mother to find it, no matter where it is.

Somewhere

Two hairy paws went near the locket.
Soon those paws transformed into human hands.

They picked up the locket and began to sniff it. A loud groan echoed

"Come to us! Our little mate"
