I seek for the person you used to be,
the "you" that always smiled and cared for me.
But you left without a trace,
leaving just a pair of hollow eyes,
an absent voice filled with anger.

Will time crush me, as well?

I don't want to become your reflection,
fighting and yelling without a reason.
I want to understand, but I can't.
You, who have felt so much pain,
changed into the monster you always feared.
And I swore my life to never let my loved ones
feel the same sadness.

I cover up my ears to escape your fury.
I close my eyes to escape your gaze full of sorrow.
Now a helpless boy is standing in front of me,
begging to be saved.

Will you take my hand?
See? I still want to save you.
But was I too late?
Did it take me too long to grow up?

The boy turned his back and ran away.
Just like you do, everytime I try to reach you.
