So right now I'm at work, I work at Forever 21. I'm on my break and Ken is supposed to bring my lunch for me. I told my co workers that it was my break and I went to the food court, and waited for Ken. As I was scrolling through Instagram, Ken tapped my shoulder and I got up to hug him and he hugged back.
Me: "Thank you sir."
Ken:"Welcome mam, how is work going so far?"
Me:" I'm tired, my back hurt, and my co workers are getting on my damn nerves."
Ken:*Laughs* Awe the lil baby tired?
Me:"*Laughs* Ugh shut up!
Ken:*Laughs* But aye its a tattoo party that's going down, you wanna go?
Me:" Umm yea sure, let me ask Meme and Pri do they wanna go..."
Ken:" Nah can we just go by our selves...you know...just you and me?"
Me:" Yea sure that's fine."
Ken:*Gets Up* Will alright I'll see you in a minute.
Me:*Gets Up* Alright.
We gave each other a hug and he walked, and I finished eating so I checked the time and went back to work.
Kapri P.O.V
I was at my brother house talking to him and my sister. I haven't seen them since my Sophomore year in high school I missed them so much. Kenny moved that year because he wanted to go stay with my dad when he got out of jail. Angelia had moved away for college. So now we was just catching up on old times.
Kenny: So Kapri you know dad getting married again right?
Kapri: Nope but that's good
Kenny: Come on Pri don't tell me you don't love our father.
Kapri: Negro did I say I didn't love him....no I didn't so shut the fuck up with all that and second I hardly even know the nigga I only seen him twice and both of them was at my birthday party and everytime he around its always fighting and arguing.
Kenny: Will you talk to him
Kapri: of course I will.....not
Kenny:Why?
Kapri: Because he a bitch nigga and I don't talk to bitch niggas so no.
Kenny: Well I can't make you talk to you but at least hear him out please Pri once you listen and hear what he have to say you'll understamd then.
Kapri: ok
Kenny: promise me
Kapri: ......
Kenny: Man just listen to him
After he said that he got up and left out the house slamming the door behind him. I can tell he was pissed...but why?
Angelia:He's right Pri you don't gotta have a conversation with him but just listen to what he has to say.
Kapri: *sighs* ok
Angelia: well I gotta go Ill text you later.
I went home and I felt pretty bad so I decided to talk to my dad.
*Phone Convo*
??: "Hello" a lady said while answering the phone
Kapri:Is Kenneth in
??: Umm...what you calling my man for?
Kapri:Because I'm his fucking daughter now put him on the fucking phone
*5 seconds later*
Kenneth: hello
Kapri: umm..hey
Kenneth: hey babygirl how you doing?
Kapri: fine. Kenneth can we meet up sometime
Kenneth: of course I been meaning to call you.
Kapri: Great. So when can we meet up.
Kenneth: I have a early flight to Michigan but I come back in 3 days when I cone back we can meet up at the startbucks.
Kapri: Okay. Have a nice trip
*Hang up*
I'm honestly pretty happy to be meeting up with my dad. I'm excited. When we were on the phone it brought back old memories from when we used to talk on the phone when he was in jail. Well I hope everything goes good.
