"Mom? Is dinner ready?" Ever asks coming into the kitchen.
"Five minutes hun," Sienna replies over her shoulder.
She sighs and plops down on th couch. She looks out of the glass doors as raindrops hit the panel with a slow rhythm. She lays her head on the back rest and smiles at the scene.
She feels a presence beside her as the body sits on the couch. She looks over to find her dad."Hey, dad. Can I ask you something?"
Silas looks at his little girl,"Sure sweetheart."
She turns her body to face his,"Why can't we just stay here and not go back to the city?"
He frowns and says,"We have things to do in the city. We have work. This place is just for us to relax."
"But this feels like a house. We have our pictures all over the house. We eat here, we play and you work here too. It's beautiful out there, Why can't we just stay?" she asks eagerly.
He smiles amusedly,"Ever, because this is our vacation house. It's still ours but not the one we could live everyday. It is a special place where we spent just a few peaceful days away from everything. Special things shouldn't be overused, you understand?"
She nods thoughtfully but pouts,"When we will back in the city I'll be alone again and you would be working."
He looks at Sienna in the kitchen both sharing a sad look,"We promise we'll try to be home as much as we can."
She bites her lip and speaks lowly,"Or you can just give me a sibling."
Her parents stare at her in shock. Sienna crosses the room and comes towards the couch,"Where did that come from?"
She sits up on her knees and holds the backrest as support,"From the movies. They have so many siblings they can play with and they have so much fun together. I want that too."
Silas chuckles while Sienna explains to the little girl,"Ever we can't just have a baby like that. You gotta wait a few more years."
"How many? Because if it's more, I will be too old to play," She says crossing her arms.
Sienna sighs and looks at her husband. Silas just shrugs and gestures her to handle this,"How about two years? Once you turn eleven we'll welcome a new family member."
She smiles excitedly,"Yes! And dad we have to make a room for the little baby in this house too, right?"
Silas smiles at her,"Right Ever. But that has to wait for a while. Until then, let's play something, just Ever and dad."
She jumps up and gets off the couch immediately,"Okay, I'll go get my board games. Don't move."
She runs up the stairs with her parents chuckling after her.

I rub my palms together and look around. I'm at the tracks, it's just been four days but I feel like I haven't been here in forever. I'm really anxious to see Declan again. I have no idea what to expect but I have to convince him. I have no other choice but to. The plan we made in the morning isn't one of confidence but that is all we have. We do that or we fail or we die. The last option terrifies me not to for me, for Asher. I don't want anything to happen to him in all of this. If I had the power to make him back off, I would've done that ages ago. But that's the thing, I don't, I can't make his choice.
