Crow's pov ***

"I can't believe that she is doing this again! I guess she didn't understand that she was wrong about this entire situation." I said as we drive back to the school.

"We don't know that this is related to Anderson. Wait until we know for sure. If it isn't, we're good. If it is, then you can throw a small fit. Deal?"

I chuckled. "Deal! I love your logic." We get to the school at the same time as Kelly. I recognize her as a classroom mom.

We greet her and Renee explains about what happened with Anderson.

"That is probably it then. Cara will stand up for her Andy. No matter if it is right or wrong." She looks at me. "You do realize that Cara says that they are going to marry?"

"I had a feeling. We should tell them that in Texas, it is illegal to marry cousins. Not to mention immoral as hell."

"Oh she is going to hate you!" We laughed.

"She won't be the first. Probably not the last either. I'm ok with that."

We enter the school and meet with the dragon lady, Mrs. Watson.

"Hello again, Mr. Harris. I thought that we had Anderson settled, but I was about to call you again. If you will give me a few minutes to meet with Ms. Victor. I'll be back with you."

"Does your meeting with Kelly have anything at all to do with Anderson?" I asked her.

"Yes, in a way. Those two are always together."

"Wouldn't it be easier to meet with both of us at the same time?"

"I don't mind if Carlton doesn't."

"I'm good with that."

"Well, ummm, I guess that is ok." She closed the door and sat at her desk. "Cara was being very disruptive yesterday. I was dealing..." she threw a look my way. "with another student and she started telling me to stop. Told me that I was a meanie for telling the other student to sit down." Again with the look my way. "I had her miss her snack with the class. She also had no recess today."

"Because she tried to stand up for Anderson? I thought that was over. Why did Cara not get to join her class?" Kelly asked.

"I have told Kelly and Renee about the kilt that you said was a skirt. I thought that was all solved."

"It was solved with Anderson, but not Cara."

"They are supposed to be at recess, right now. Where are they?" I asked.

"That is what I was going to tell you. When Cara didn't join her class for snacks, Anderson ate his snack with Cara. When Cara didn't join her class for recess, Anderson stayed with her. They are in the office. Anderson refused to go to recess without Cara."

"Seems to me they are best friends standing up for each other. When Anderson was proven right earlier, Cara should have been let go also. Not waiting until you felt like meeting with Kelly."

"You could have done this over the phone also." Kelly added.

"I want my son and Cara in here now. I am tired of this bullshit!" I told her.

She picked up the desk phone and called the office. A minute later, the two kids came through the door. "Daddy, I'm in trouble again. I'm sorry."

"No need to be sorry, son. You did as you are being raised. To protect your friends. I'm proud of you, Anderson. Gather your things, I'm taking you home. I've had enough of the school today."
