Right here, I explain'Little Space' further, and some tips for you beautiful little with and without caregiver to get in little space ❤️
As you already know, 'little space' is: A term used for a regress mindset. Little space, is a space of mind where the age regressor thinks and behave as the age they are in. When they revert, they are mentally the age they've regressed to and should be treated as such.
How can a little enter their little space? The easiest way to get in to little space is to spend time doing things that make you feel little. This is different for everyone, but it might be wearing little clothes, being around your favourite toys, listening to little music, having your caregiver care for you, or spending time colouring or drawing.
Some little don't have someone to take care of them, so they must take care of themselves and make themselves go into little space; how?:
1. First and foremost, start your littlespace adventure in a safe place where you know you won't be interrupted or disturbed by other people. Most people choose to go or fall into littlespace in the privacy of their home when nobody else is home or in their bedroom with the door locked. If you don't feel safe and comfortable you are likely not going to enjoy yourself.
•If you live with parents, siblings, other family members, or roommates we suggest you first invest in a bedroom lock for yourself.
2. Set uninterrupted time where you can get lost in yourself for a set amount of time without it disrupting other responsibilities. An hour or longer is preferred so that you can take time to relax into the right state of mind. Try not to set too short of a time to where you feel rushed and like you may be out of time at any moment
•Set yourself a timer on your phone or another device so that you don't have to watch the clock if you're limited by time.
3. Surround yourself with the right soothing audio to create your ambiance:
•Turn on one of your favorite animated movies or cartoon series. You don't have to watch it, but the background sound itself could help bring you into the mindset.
•If you don't have your favorite animated film or show available then opt to turn on music created for children. (Anything from lullabies, to children singing, or even music from things like Disney films).
•If music isn't your thing, try playing audio recording of people reading children's stories.
4. Surround yourself with stuffed animals, dolls, and toys that remind you of being childlike. Objects can help you to feel younger, but be careful to not identify yourself as being a little just because you enjoy these objects.
5. Consider getting down on the floor to kid-level or restricting your movement to some degree. Sitting on the floor (perhaps on a special mat or rug just for this purpose) can help you play with toys better and gives you a better "little" perspective.
•As examples, some people design diapers inserts to force them to waddle when they do choose to walk, some people limit themselves to only crawling. Some that fall more into babyspace than littlespace may wrap themselves tightly in a blanket to restrict their arms as if they were swaddled.
6. Consider building a blanket and pillow fort to start the process. If a blanket fort is beyond your littleage then you can imagine the bars of a big, adult-sized crib around you or invest in a good, cheap set of safety railing to help you mimic crib sides on your big bed. Sometimes making or fully imaging your own special little area can create a new sense of comfort and safety.
7. Have at least one activity available for you while in littlespace. This could be small activities like coloring with crayons, minor popsicle stick crafts with glue, beading necklaces and bracelets, building with legos or blocks. For adult babies, they could lay down and finish a full bottle while watching their mobile go around or jingle plastic keys for a bit as they baby babble.
8. Regress yourself further through language, even if you're just babbling on to yourself or verbally playing pretend with your stuffed animals.
9. Dress up. Wear what makes you feel more happy and young. Think about wearing adult-sized diapers, bright colors, "styling" your hair, wearing frilly clothing, wearing clothing with pictures (of animals or trucks for example), or putting on your favorite pajamas. You can also change your hairstyle in a way that you don't typically wear it.
•Having a special set of clothing for littlespace time can make a huge difference for some people.
10. Prepare little-sized snacks and drinks for your littlespace adventure:
•Use small ziplock sandwich or snack sized bags. Alternatively, you can use snackcups with screw-on lids designed for children.
•Use plastic children's plates and utensils with cartoon characters displayed on them.
•Use sippy cups or adult sized baby bottles for your drinks.
•Try having ready fingerfoods and snacks like trailmix, baby sized vegetables like carrots (carrots and ranch dip, perhaps), cut up vegetables like celery (celery and peanut butter, perhaps), halved grapes, bite-sized candies or M&Ms, or lollipops.
•Try having ready drinks that make you feel childish like chocolate milk, yoo-hoo, horchata, an ice cream float, kool-aid, milk, or juice.
•Some adult babies also choose to try baby formula or breastmilk. These drink choices are not harmful to adults.
11. Ultimately, surround yourself with happiness. When you're getting ready to enter littlespace think of things that make you the most happy and incorporate them. Then, there is littles who have a caregiver, and for they I'd may be easier to get into little space; why?: Littles sometimes need help from their caregiver to get into little space because of many reasons. You didn't do anything wrong its just sometimes simple items or ideas don't get us into little space. So here are some ideas to help your little when they can't get into little space:
1. Sit them on your lap and let them lay on your chest whilst you play with their hair or patting their bottom.
2. Give them lots of kisses and all the cuddles in the world.
3. Nappy changing time can be a great bonding experience if your little wears nappies or pull ups.
4. Buy them a stuffie or take them to build-a-bear.
5. Putting his/her/ their paci in their mouth when putting them down for a nap.
6. Run your little a bubble bath with lots of bubbles, light candles and add toys to play with.
7. Sit down and watch a movie or tv show of their choice* Feed them at meal time because more likely they will be messy.Note:
