Coach had always lived a very simple life. Growing up in Alabama he had some less than liberal ideals. He had moved to Ohio and become a high school gym teacher, probably the best job in the world for old southern guys who probably like looking at girls asses. As a gym teacher he had seen it all. In high school everyone gets a little rowdy and he's had to break up many fights and make out sessions. That's why, one might say he was prepared for everything, except for this. It was the start of a new semester, and there was a new student coming in. It was a normal thing for students to come in during the middle of the school year. He personally found it a little annoying, but when he walked in, the world stopped moving for a second. He was tall, lean, and pale as fuck. He had never seen a man like that before, never felt this jolt of energy. He stuttered "h-hello there," and asked for his name. "Corpse, my name is Corpse" the student responded in a deep sultry voice. "Fuck-" he thought. He kept telling himself to stop. This is wrong. Against the teachings he spent his life learning, against the moral code he had followed for so long. He took a deep breath in and sighed. "Could you introduce yourself to the class?" He asked the student. Corpse shrugged it off and simply said no thanks. Coach's eyes widened. He had never seen this assertiveness, the pure bravery Corpse had. He found it refreshing, like a breathe of air to save him from drowning in the cold and unforgiving sea. He blinked back to reality. Corpse had sat down already and the students were waiting for Coach to start. "O-oh yes students where was I?" The Coach muttered out. He continued by talking about the warmup for the day. "You'll be running a mile around the track". The whole class groaned and Corpse whispered under his breath, "this is how I die isn't it." Coach took a sharp breath thinking to himself about how beautiful his voice was. "Don't worry Corpse, you won't die." He said. Corpse rolled his eyes and all of the students got up and walked to the track.
"Ready, Set, and Go!" The students were off the track running and Corpse simply started walking. Coach was a little annoyed by this so he began walking towards him. He has a slight limp from serving in the army when he was younger. "Young man, I expect you to run." He muttered out strictly. Corpse looked into his gray blue eyes and simply said fine and started running out. Coach walked back and waited for students to pass by to tell them the time they took. A few minutes later a sweaty, pale man ran by and time slowed down. All coach could see was his blue eyes with purple spots, his black curly hair, his muscular arms, his forehead dripping in sweat, and the sound of him panting. He snapped out of it after hearing a "what's my time sir?" He looked down to see him standing close to his face, unnaturally close, and he quickly pulled away. "Uhh 7:56 is your time". He said as he pulled away. Corpse sighed and went away as Coach whispered "see, you didn't die,"
