The Marvelously (Non) Meticulous Mission Part 2

PETER POV

What the heck was Harry doing here?! We had just finished our assignment the other day, and he seemed totally normal. I never would've guessed he was an agent-they're good. He turned to face me, him just as confused as us.

"What are you doing here?" He said in a panic, jogging over to us.

"I could say the same for you..." Y/n looked between us.

"Harry from English class?" She asked, and Harry's attention was pulled away from me.

"In the flesh..." he ran his fingers through his hair, "so, you guys...work here?"

"Uhm," Peter cleared his throat, "y-yeah."

"Well, I guess I'll see you around?" He gave a slightly confused smile and walked away. I let out a breath and Peter and I looked at each other.

"Woah. Did not see that one coming,"

I sighed and started walking with y/n, checking out every room we had access to. I couldn't help but notice the weird emblem on some of the uniforms here, it was some sort of dog or something. Most of the rooms were empty or needed access codes, but at least our cover wasn't blown or anything. There must have been at least a dozen doors that led to nothing but weird machines or interrogations, or doors leading to other doors (which needed access codes, great). It had been probably about 20 minutes of sneaking around the compound when we finally found something useful. Y/n and I ducked into the dark room and I flipped on the switch. My spidey senses had sensed that danger was in here, so we needed to find out what it was. We both gasped, staring straight into the eyes of a y/h/c 9 year old girl with y/e/c eyes, looking just like a younger Y/n.

We found her.

She was strapped to some sort of machine, with needles and syringes sticking out of her arms.

"Taylor! Can you hear me? We need to get you out of here," Y/n ran to her and started to unstrap her from the table, but Taylor stayed limp with her eyes wide open.

"Taylor?"

"Compliance will be rewarded," she mumbled. Y/n looked at me, terrified.

"They've brainwashed her..."

I picked up Taylor from the table and held her slack body in my arms while we devised a plan to get out of here without drawing too much attention.

"We can't just go out there and pulverize us, all of HYDRA will be on our tails after that,"

I nodded my head in agreement and pursed my lips.

"We could...pretend to take her to some sort of, ah," I furrowed my brow, and Y/n cut me off.

"Separate base?"

"Yeah!"

She put a finger to her lips, signaling me to quiet. I heard some people talking from the other side of the door. I held my breath and squeezed my eyes shut-like that would help. Then, the door slowly started to open...

TONY POV

"I hope the kids are doing fine," I said and watched as my knee bounced.

"They'll be fine, they've been training for this," Steve reassured, but I could hear the uncertainty in his voice, too. I licked my lips and pinched the bridge of my nose, letting out a breath I didn't realize I was holding. Why had I sent them in by themselves? They're completely helpless, I mean, what if their cover is blown? We hadn't completely prepared for that! And Y/n, she's 16! I sent two teenagers into the belly of the beast! What was I thinking!? We didn't even have cameras on them, shit, we needed cameras! How were they going to get Taylor if they found her? We don't even know the name of this organization, much less how they-

Buzz. Buzz. Bu-

I picked up my phone and sighed, it was Happy.

"Yes Happy?"

"Uh, sir, Child Care Service is here..."

"And?"

"They're here to take Y/n."

There will also be a little spin off book about stuff with the agents of shield and my ocs, ive already basically written that, but i wanted to release them chronologically. I'm also going to do a oneshots book ive already written, a loki book, maaaybe a supernatural book, a book about a girl from the red room who escapes and finds bucky, and a lot more lmao
