"Everything's gonna be just fine," one of the men grumbled as he led you into a small building. It wasn't run down, per se, but everything had some sort of eerie sense to it; something was off. You looked around at the warm toned beige walls, one of the walls had a small stain on it, but you couldn't tell what it was. A worn brown sofa sat kitty-corner on the back and left wall, with a desk across from it. Another man sat there, he was shorter than these guys but still just as intimidating. He had some weird Hitler mustache that you internally judged. He sent you a chilling smile, and you rubbed your eye with your middle finger, subtly flipping him off.

"So...I hear this is the...Stark kid," he narrowed his eyes at you.

"Was the Stark kid," the one who brought you in chuckled. You took a deep breath and reminded yourself that murder was illegal.

"Anyways, how bout you get checked in, kid?" He pushed you towards the desk. You rolled your eyes and put your fingertips on the desk.

"Y/n Stark."

"Your real name?"

"Y/n Stark," you said again, you just wanted to push his buttons.

"For God's sake kid, your real name!" He shouted suddenly. Even though you flinched, you tried to keep a cool facade. So, you just chuckled and folded your arms, smirking.

"I already told you," you stated, "it's Stark."

"Fine. Levi, take her to her room," he dismissed you two with a wave and you sighed. You walked down a small corridor towards your room. The man next to you finally turned to walk through a door and you followed. It was small and drab, but not horrible. There was a twin sized bed in the right corner and a drawer on the other side. The bed had a black blanket and pillow neatly made, along with a medium size window at the far wall.

"Basic bitches..." you muttered under your breath. Practically hearing the eye roll behind you, you turned on your heel to face the man.

You smirked, "Well, I'll be seeing you out."

TIME SKIP CUZ YEAH

How you managed to keep so calm while a storm was raging inside was beyond you. Your instincts had been screaming at you ever since you entered the premises. Natasha had taught you well. You tried to calm yourself down and keep your cool, but everything seemed to be going wrong in your life. Your mom dying, your sister being kidnapped, your complicated love life, and now this.

Great.

So, you sat on your bed and stayed quiet. Minutes seemed like hours, and you wondered what the team was doing to try and get you back. It just didn't seem legal, you know? Just taking a kid away, no warrant, no consent, no judge or court date. Nothing, zilch, nada. Your thoughts were cut off by a slight sound, only heard by you because of your trained ears. It sounded like a sort of muffled cry, but it was too quiet for you to make out definitely. You did the only logical thing and got up to investigate. You stepped out of your room and crept down the unfamiliar halls. The ground was scratched up concrete with a cheap brown rug covering only a part of it. All offense, this place was ugly and creepy as hell. The sounds slowly started to get louder, or, closer, if you will. You turned the hall, and lo and behold, there was a shut door. Taking a deep breath, you slowly opened the door with a creak. Your breath hitched as you took in the sight in front of you.

MJ.

"Oh my God," You ran over to her tied up in a chair, "are you ok?"

She took the tape off of her mouth with her now free hands, still shaky.

"I-...y/n, what's going on?"

"I don't, I don't know, MJ...I'm so, so, sorry-everything's been super crazy, I got taken here, and-"

She held her finger to her lips to shush me, "They might hear you."

"S-sorry, I just...I can't express to you how much I wish you hadn't gotten into this. I've put you in so much danger right now," you shook your head while looking down. She placed her hand on your shoulder and you looked into her eyes. Those damn eyes. They get you every time; put you in some sort of trance.

"It's not your fault, ok?" She said with confidence, yet her voice was shaky.

"Are you ok?" You asked, tilted your head to the side. The corners of her mouth twitched up to form a smile for a fraction of a second, and she nodded. You two just stood there, captivated by each other. Time seemed to stop. It was just you and her. No one else. Gravity pulled you closer to her, it was like it was meant to be. You were so close together, her breath on your skin sent chills down your spine. Your eyes glanced down to her lips for only a moment, then back to her eyes. Neither of you spoke a word, just relished in each other's company. Your noses touched, then your foreheads. You both leaned in, about to close the agonizing gap between you, when you both heard a shout.

It was the same voice of the man at the desk, "She's out!"
