Lizzy's POV
I saw as the thunder crashed. Ciel hated thunder. He feared it. I couldn't stop thinking about him these past few days. Whether I should just let go of him, or not. I was so in love with him since I first met him, it broke my heart to see how he changed.
"Should we just go home, Lizzy?" Sieg muttered. I shook my head. "I just want to stay here a little longer." I said. The rain was pouring, and my dress was wet. Sieg was almost as wet as I was, and her hair was all over the place. She was so similar to my Ciel when he was little, I started to cry. "What's wrong Lizzy?!" She said. It was as if their souls were identical. Ciel changed so much these years.. He used to be so cheerful and happy.. But now he's a sad mess. And I didn't want that. I wanted him to be happy.. "Let me take you home." Sieg had said. I had no choice but to go with her.
Once we arrived at her apartment, she told me to go to the kitchen. A few minutes later, she walked to the kitchen as well. "What took you so long?" I muttered "I had to change my wet clothes." Sieg replied. "What if we talk?" She asked. "W-What do you want to talk about..?" I replied. "About Ciel. You need to accept the fact that he is in love with someone else, Elizabeth." She said. Those words hurt me in a terrible way. It broke my heart. "You wait and wait and keep waiting for him to like you back. But he never did.. And he never will." I didn't want to hear those words. "How are you so sure of that, Sieglinde?!" I cried. "BECAUSE YOUR EX-FIANCE IS WITH MY BEST FRIEND!" She yelled.
Sebastian's POV
I watched as Ciel sat on the bed. I sat down next to him. He still had the same sad expression he had a few minutes ago. I pinched his cheeks. "I don't like it when you're sad, Ciel. Please cheer up." I said. I just saw his difficulty to speak as I pulled his cheeks. I laughed as I let go of his face. He pouted. We just sat there in silence. "Sebastian.. How does it feel to be in love..?" He whispered. "I cannot say. I have never been in love to find out. Have you?" I replied. "No. Not at all. Well used to." He said. "What do you mean?" I asked. and that's when he kissed me. He wrapped his arms around my neck. I put my arms around his waist. We pulled away from each other. I couldn't help but smile. He giggled happily. "It seems to be that you have been holding in this feeling for a long time." I said. He nodded. "It's all I wanted to do in this world ever since I met you." He said as a smile curled up in his lips. A happy smile. It made me feel so happy that I no longer had to hide my feelings towards Ciel. I lied down, pulling him down with me. He pulled my cheek. "That's what you get for doing the same to me." He said laughing. His laughter sounded like music to my ears. His happiness was my happiness too. "Get some sleep, okay? I don't want your health to worsen" I said. "Good night." He said. "G'night." I replied. I watched as he closed his eyes. I pulled him closer to me. I closed my eyes too.
The next day, Lizzy's POV
I woke up in my parents house once again. Sixteen years old and I still don't live alone. How bothersome. Sieg had dropped me off the night before. My brother of course yelled at her for bringing me this late. But really she was only trying to help me accept the fact that Ciel is in love with somebody else. Not me. I accepted the fact that I just couldn't cling onto people and hope that they don't leave. I had to let them live their lives.
I walked downstairs to find Edward talking with my mother. He was probably gossiping about what happened yesterday. "Good morning." I muttered. Edward waved. I went over to grab a piece of toast and my backpack. Sadly it was Monday, and I needed to go to school. "Gone so soon Elizabeth?" My mom asked. "I need to get to school, but I'll see you soon!" I replied. "That's what you get for getting home so late!!" Edward yelled. I went out running my way to school.
Once I got there, I saw Alois saying goodbye to Claude. He was much older than us, so he had to go to the other building. In which I believe was college. Same school, different building. In which we were in Lovelace Academy, how ironic. Sieglinde sprinted over to hug me, almost knocking me to the ground. "Lizzy!" She yelled out, as if I hadn't seen her in a thousand years. "Hello, Sieg!" I muttered, well if it sounded like one. She laughed in her sweet, innocent voice. "Happy to see you again!" She said. I couldn't help but laugh as well. "W-What time is it?" I asked, trying to hold back my laughter as she tickled me. She looked at her watch and gasped. "We already skipped first period!!" She yelled. "How come?!" I replied. How did we waste this much time?! I grabbed Sieglinde's wrist and ran to the classroom.
