i'm absolutely freaking out. chills of the concert are really getting to me. even though i just heard their music today, i'm pumped. they seem really cool.

i sort of know absolutely nothing about this band, i've never even seen their faces. which feels stupid, since i'm backstage and getting pre-concert chills.

damn. i haven't been this excited since the all time low concert when we sat in the front row. i don't even know what's going on. i can't really see the stage from here.

i grabbed sam's wrist and pulled him closer to the stage.

the drum beat was strong and steady. a guitar riff slowly got louder from the background. girls screamed. the music shook the entire stadium. this is what I live for.

i saw 4 figures walk onto the stage. i couldn't get a good look at them before i was dragged away by a hand on my shoulder, much bigger than sam's.

"uh, could you fuck off?" i whipped my head around. he was tall, broad and muscular and he didn't have a friendly look on his face. it was like a permanent scowl.

he didn't say a word. he just took me and sam and pushed us towards the door. he shoved us out and we heard some sort of lock behind the door, just slammed in front of our faces.

"he seems nice," sam joked.

"did you do something illegal? why did we get kicked out?" it was weird, sam couldn't have just walked right in... could he?

"all i know is-" sam was cut off by another big man grabbing his shoulders. one doing the same to me.

"you kids aren't allowed back here. you're lucky we haven't called the cops." one of them growled.

"but i bought backstage passes. look," sam pulled out an official-looking card hanging from a lanyard on his neck.

"we don't sell those. they're fake. must've wasted all your money on your girlfriend kid," an evil smile spread onto his fat face. ew, bastard.

"yeah, we're not-" he cut me off.

"whatever. c'mon."

he pushed us towards the way we came in the stadium. "we still paid for regular tickets." i said, trying to dig my heels into the ground so he couldn't push me.

"doesn't matter." one of them said. then they pushed us out the door.

"what the fuck?" i asked. "sam, you bought illegal passes?"

"i didn't know they were illegal, the van the guy was in looked too nice for him to be a fraud. i-"

"save it, lewis." i cut him off. lets go get some pizza. i'll be all depressey for a few days. i was really looking forward to this." i slumped.

"hey, they can't ruin the whole night for us. lets stay here, we can still hear the music, and the girls." sam laughed.

i laughed, "yeah."

me and sam sat against the wall. we just listened. that's all we needed to have a good time. the silence wasn't awkward for us.

2 or 3 hours passed and i still had no regrets that night.

"thank you LA! goodnight!" someone shouted from the stage.

"that was awesome, even from way out here." i smiled.

"so, does pizza still sound good?"

"sam, when does pizza not sound good?"

"let's meet them at the truck." sam laughed.

"alright," i smiled. even though we were kicked out of the stadium, it was a pretty great night.

we waited for the rest of the crew and drove to the nearest pizza place.

when we got to the pizza place, we saw a crowd of girls around a black car. this again?

we walked in and ordered 5 large cheese pizzas, the usual. theres like 13 of us in our crew, 5 isn't a lot.

i saw a dude behind us with red spikey hair. he looked sweaty. i didn't mention it to anyone, i just followed them to the table.

i saw the red haired boy sitting at a booth with 3 other boys. whatever. i mean, i haven't ever seen any of them before. i don't think.

we finished our pizza and i stood up to go to the bathroom. i was looking down at my shoes as i walked but i bumped into something- someone.

"sorry, i-" i looked up but i was cut off by the tall blonde boy in front of me.

"erica?" he smiled. he had a perfect quiff and a lip ring in his bottom left lip.
