ughhhh my alarm
Today is the day that we move to New Jersey. It is at least a 20 hour drive and I am NOT ready for that.

My mom doesn't want to deal with her feelings from my dad passing away. He had a heart attack at work and died before he got to the hospital. Anyways, I have to get ready.

I rolled out of bed and walked over to the mirror. God I look like a MESS. I walked in to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I got in the shower and did everything I needed to do. After I got out i brushed out my hair (it's naturally curly btw). I got dressed in some black sweats with a red short-sleeve crop top and my black and white Jordan 1s

n/m: "NORA HURRY UP WE HAVE TO GET ON THE ROAD BEFORE 8:30 AND ITS ALREADY 8:13!"
Nora: "IM GOING"
gosh she has to calm tf down

I checked the room that will no longer be mine to make sure my last few items were packed away. I got a new bed and mirror so i don't need these.

I went downstairs to what is now an empty living room and kitchen
n/m: "ready to go?"
Nora: "yea"
We got in the car and checked everything. I didn't tell mom , but the photo of dad she told me to throw away was in one of the boxes in the back. If she sees it, she will start to hit me like she used to.

n/m : "I TOLD YOU NOT TO TELL GRANDMA THAT I HIT YOU AND THATS THE FIRST THING YOU DO! YOU NEVER FUCKING LISTEN YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"

Nora: "I didn't tell her she saw-"

n/m: "SHE SAW NOTHING! GOSH YOU ARE SUCH A WORTHLESS BITCH! YOU DON'T  KNOW ANYTHING"

I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. My OWN mother punched me in the stomach. After I landed on the floor, she kicked me continuously until i could barely even let a breath out.

n/m: "IF YOU TELL YOUR GRANDMA THIS I WILL DO SO MUCH WORSE YOU WHORE"

I went up to my room with bruises and blood all over me . I could barely even move my arms so there was no reason to shower. I just went to my bed and cried myself to sleep.

End of Flashback

n/m: "nora, nora, NORA!"
nora: "what huh? Im sorry what were you saying"
n/m : "I was asking if you wanted some dunkin donuts since you didn't eat breakfast"

Nora: "yea no I have snacks and im not hungry right now" I said kind of sad as I was still thinking of when she abused me

n/m: "are u ok? you sound sad"
Nora: "yea everything is perfectly fine , just sad about moving" I lied.

My mom just replied with an ok
After that we just played music and drove. Hours later were finally here
