Chapter 10: A New Beginning

            It's been about a month since George and Clay.  It's George's birthday and they are celebrating at Clay's house with George's mom, Sapnap, and Karl. They are having a big party and they are about to begin opening presents. Sapnap grabs his present from the door and hands it to George. "Here you go George". "Thank you Sapnap I really though you won't get me anything", George says jokingly. "Yeah right", he responds. Karl chirps in, "This is from me and Sapnap both since he didn't say it". They chuckle. George opens the present to see a picture frame, he turns the frame over. George starts to laugh as he shows off the picture frame, "I forgot about this oh my god". The picture frame shows all of them together in Dream's living from when they were first drunk together. It shows Karl giving peace signs at the camera, Dream laughing at George whilst George is singing drunk, and Sapnap taking the selfie.  Dream starts to wheeze remembering that was the first time Dream almost kissed George. "You guys got drunk?", George mom says, surprised. "George dear you didn't say anything about getting drunk that day". "It was a crazy night mom. Moving on". They all laugh and chuckle. "Thank you Nick and Karl for the picture. Definitely hanging that up in my room". Sapnap smiles, "You better hang that up". "Now...", Clay stands up, "It's time for the best gift". Clay walks behind the counter and grabs a small envelope from the cabinet. Clay walks back to George and hands it to him, "Here you go". George starts to get suspicious, "I wonder what is in here". George goes and grabs an envelope cutter and stands in the middle of the room where he opens the envelope. He takes out a small piece of paper which reads, "Welcome Home", George reads out. George is confused, "Welcome home? But I'm not home right now". Clay smiles, "You are now...". George looks at the others then back at Clay, "...welcome home?...welcome home...", George puts his hand over his mouth and starts to tear up. "I'M MOVING HERE?!", George is shocked. This is going to be his home, that is the best gift he could ever dream of.  ...regret...  George runs up to Clay and jumps into his arms and kisses him. Tears start to go down his face in joy, "This is the best gift I could think of". Everyone in the room starts to shred tears of joy. "Your stuff should be here in a couple of days. Your mother and I have planned this for a while but we finally got it to work, just for us George". George kisses Clay and smiles, "I love you Clay". Clay kisses George back, "I love you too George". They continue to kiss while George's mom looks at them. She walks away from the others into a separate room and gets her phone out to call someone. She dials the number and stands there waiting while the phone rings. "Kristan...is that you?" "Hey John...you wanted me to call you...I'm busy hanging out with MY son" "Kris...I want to see my son please...that was years ago" "Don't call me that...it's true that was years ago but that traumatized him for the rest of his life..." "...Kristen I'm coming over tomorrow to see my son" "First of all its MY son and he moved out with his boyfriend. Good luck finding him". His tone changes to fury, "What...boyfriend" "Oh did I forget to tell you that my son is gay? Oh yeah he likes men and I don't fucking care who he likes. I just want George to be happy". John goes silent, "He's...gay. No wonder he didn't like it...". Kristen's voice turns to anger in a second, "Oh please John, you never cared for him since he was born. Even if he was straight that isn't something that he would like. Now if you excuse me I'm going to enjoy my son's birthday with his boyfriend and his family. Bye John." "Kristen, wait...I want to speak to him". She says her last words, "John...I don't want you to talk to George ever again and leave my family alone. You are a pussy John" ...pussy... "Kristen wa-". She hangs up and quickly texts him and says, "Fuck off " and blocks the number. She walks back out and continues to enjoy the party with the others. They facetime Bad and tell him the news that they are moving in together. "I'm so happy for you too! I can visit sometime but I'm busy this week". Skeppy jumps into frame and kisses Bad on the cheek. "He's busy hanging out with me, his boyfriend", Skeppy says on the phone. Bad yells at him, "ZAK, WE AGREED NOT TO SAY ANYTHING". They all laugh whilst Bad is annoyed at Skeppy. Sapnap goes into the camera and winks at Bad, "I'll leave you to hang out". Bad yells, "WHA-". They hang up on Bad and laugh together. After that day all was good. George moved in with Clay and now they have pets including Patches and Georges pets. They live a happy life and they continue to live in Clay's house till further notice. ...very happy...  Sapnap and Karl decide to move in together but each month they go to Karl's house then back to Sapnap's since they couldn't decide where to live and for that reason they don't have any pets. They all spend the night together at Clay's house for a final goodbye. They talk, talk, and talk all night and even shred some tears. Sapnap and Karl stand at the front door, "It's been a great time hanging out with you guys and I hope we can see each other again sometime". ... I wish we never met... Clay nods his head, "Yeah it has Nick. One day we will see each other again but after we sort out our lives". They start to tear up and they all hug each other. Karl hugs George, "Your my best buddy George" "You too Karl". ...I hate you... Karl walks outside waiting for Sapnap which stays behind. Sapnap looks at George and Clay, he begins to cry, "I'm going to miss you guys". Clay and George begin to cry as well, "It has been good that after all these years Nick that we had finally meant" "It has been Clay". George pulls them all together and hugs each other. "We will always be the dream team", Sapnap says leaving out the door. ...We should have never been friends... George and Clay walk outside and wave as Karl and Nick drive away from the house. George hugs Clay and gives him a kiss on the cheek, "Let's go back inside now. It's getting cold" "Lets". The day ends with Clay and George hand in hand walking back into their house. Now they start a happy life together as a couple forever. 

...couple...happy...it's the end...right?...or is it just the beginning?
