Leonardo Watch | Kekkai Sensen
It was just another day in Hellsalem's Lot, minding my own business, going to work and enjoying my time being alone. Walking in less crowded places always took my mind off of the world. The sounds of small critters, birds chirping and leaves crunching relaxed me. In this world where monsters and humans live together, it tends to get a little too much at times.
'THUMP'
"Oh.. seems that I dozed off again" I say as my shoulder hits a hard surface.
Look to see what my body came in contact with revealed a gravestone of sorts. I take a look around and see that I found myself in a graveyard. It didn't seem abandoned but it wasn't very well taken care of. The grass reached up to my ankles, weeds were here and there, vines wrapped around some gravestones. It looked like the earth was trying to protect those who have passed. I've decided to pay my respects to the gravestone I bumped into, I may have not known the person but I didn't want to be disrespectful regardless. Turning around, my body started to move on its own, being driven by curiosity. Wanting to explore but also wanting to know how many souls have passed. As I walked further in, my ears perked, there was someone else here. I listened closer and it sounded like a male's voice, perhaps they were visiting someone they lost. Deciding to offer my condolences to him, I walked towards him, but it seems like he didn't hear me approach him.
"I'm sorry for your loss" I said
After that sentence left my mouth the guy jumped in surprised and turned around. The guy looked young, probably around his 20's, he has disheveled brown hair, is wearing a blue and white baggy sweater and pants also has somewhat blue with white sneakers and had orange goggles hanging off his neck. His eyes aren't completely opened but he seemed to be able to see fine.
"Ah, you scared me for a bit" he said. His voice sounded a little bit childish but it wasn't annoying. It was soothing to me.
"I'm sorry it wasn't my intention to do so" I replied
"No you're fine! I just get sacred easily" he responded reassuring me and waved his hands in front of him
I looked to the gravestone he was previously looking at and saw that it had a females name on it.
"I'm sorry for your loss" I say again
The man looked to his side towards the gravestone. I looked back at him.
"I appreciate your condolences" he said with a sad look
I decide to quickly switch the mood and try to brighten him up.
"My name is (Y/N), mind if I ask for yours in return?" I stretched my hand out him
"I don't mind at all (Y/N), it's Leonardo Watch" he stretched his hand out and gently shook my hand
----Timeskip----
It's been a couple months now and I never knew that meeting Leo would change my life for the better. The gravestone he visited was a friend named "White", she had passed away a while back. After our first meeting, we quickly became friends and tried to hang out as much as we could. Our jobs occupied most of our time but we didn't stop trying. I was able meet some members of Libra and of course Sonic. Leo is a very kind and caring person, he's humble and selfless. It's hard to not like someone like him, well aside from Zapp, because of his kind heart. Even though we've known each other for a bit, it feels like a lifetime. In that short amount of time, I've developed a crush on him. My heart starts to beat fast when I'm around him, my face gets red when he smiles at me and I can't help but look at him with loving but longing eyes. I don't want to risk ruining what we have. I cherish this friendship and don't want to lose him.
