You were with Tanjiro when he encounterd Rui, one of the Spider Demon on the mountain. Right now Rui had finished cutting a demon hunter, who had randomly appeared, into peices with his threads. He then looked at Tanjiro dead in the eye.

Your P.O.V

"What... Did you say just now?.." Rui said with an enraged expression on his face

"I'll say it again as many times as I have to, your bonds aren't real they're fake!!" Tanjiro said with a determined look on his face

"Bonds take time to form through trust! You can't just force them to happen!" I said with my voice unwaivering. It was a split second but I saw Rui look at me.

There was a little moment of silence between all of us.

"If you take back what you just said then I'll make your death painless" Rui said in a emotionless voice as he started to show off his threads

"We won't take back the truth!" said Tanjiro as he started getting into a fighting position

I pulled out my (f/c) sword as well to be ready to attack. Me and Tanjiro both were students of Mr. Urokodaki so we used the same techniques. My (long/medium/short) (h/c) hair was away from my face and being held back by (h/s). We both saw Rui start to move his threads towards us but it looked like he was aiming more to Tanjiro than me. I saw Tanjiro dodge all of them as I did the same thing, but doing that caused us to slightly separate from each other. Tanjiro tried to cut a thread that was moving towards him with his sword. The thread sclied his sword in half. I knew that he was in shock as started running towards him and pulled the collar of his robe towards me so the thread wouldn't hit him, except that it already did.

I help Tanjiro balance himself before he could fall on me and saw the long cut that the thread did to Tanjiro. I couldn't help but feel useless for not being able to help Tanjiro in time.

'Right now is not the time to think like that (Y/N)!' I thought to myself as I saw more threads coming towards us.

I pushed Tanjiro to the side as I moved away too, so the threads wouldn't hit us. The threads just kept coming until they stopped, leaving me and Tanjiro beathing hard from all the dodging we did.

"Do you still refuse to take back what you said?" Rui said as he was ready to send more threads towards us.

Tanjiro and I stayed silent to tell him that we weren't taking it back.

"Fine" Rui said as he pulled his hand towards himself and had threads that formed a big spider web go towards us. Everything seemed to go in slow motion as I saw the threads head towards Tanjiro, I knew what was about to happen.

Red was the only thing I could see as the blood was being splattered everywhere and the threads disappeared.

"(Y/N)!!!" I heard Tanjiro cry out as I start to fall backwards.

Tanjiro caught me and quickly ran to the side with me in his arms and Nezuko following closely behind him. He set me down with my back leaning on the tree, I saw his eyes start to form tears as Nezuko had tears in her eyes as well.

"I'm so sorry that you had to protect me and Nezuko (Y/N)!" Tanjiro said 

I had managed to run as fast as I could towards Tanjiro as I saw Nezuko out of her box and in front of him holding her arms out protectively, ready to protect her older brother. I didn't want them to get hurt again so I push them back in the nick of time, I had taken Nezuko's place and protected both of them. The threads only hit me, they all left really deep cuts.
