"Imogen hurry up, your going to be late," mom shouts at me as I lay happily in my bed thinking about the day ahead. It's not the first time Iv moved school and I'm positive it's not the last either. I'm 13 and have been to over 14 schools in 7 different country's. I'm sure that's a world record or something. Anyway, it didn't matter as long as I had mom. Talking of mom...
She shouted again, "Imogen, I swear if your not down here in 1 minute I...." Her words were blurred as my alarm went off. I stumbled out of bed and got dressed. When getting dressed I sit by the radiator instead of sitting on my bed because if I did that, there's a 100% chance I'd go back to sleep. Anyway school..
It was 8:50, I was 10 minutes late on my first day. Great first impression, I thought as I rolled my eyes with careless expression. While walking into class I took a deep breath, I knew it would be the same as last time and I was right. The teacher told me to stand at the front of the classroom as she introduced me. As she did the class peered at me while girls bitched about my appearance. It was always like this.
Would I make any friends here? I want to but then again what if I move school I don't want to leave anyone behind. I'd done this before. Annie Johnson was the best friend I ever had and the biggest mistake I ever made. We always had fun and a laugh I was sure we'd be friend forever but then we moved. I left her and I cry every time I think of leaving someone again. Having friends is a part if life, my mom always says but she never mentions abandoning them.
