Chpt15: Set a date

"Mao." Neji started hanging on a tree by his legs. "Yes Neji." I looked up at him. "We never went on a date before." He said. I jumped in the tree and started hanging with him. "What do you mean? Aren't we on a date right now?" I asked.

"No..."

"Of course we are in a date right now. We are together, hanging out, and yeah. That's all you really need for a date." I said. "Noooo, like I want you to get pretty and stuff so we can go out to eat."

"I'm not already pretty?" I questioned him. "Bitch! I did not say that." He raised his voice. "Who the hell are you calling a bitch, bitch!" I said. "Forget it! I did not say you weren't pretty...I meant I want you to get pretty, like dress up and stuff." He rolled his eyes. "I know dummy. I was just doing a thing called...joking."

I stoped hanging from the tree before all the blood rushed to my head and I pop a vessel.

And he did the same. "Sooo." Neji started. "So, what?" I replied. "We're you not listening? I want to go on a date with you." He said. "Sure what ever." I stretched myself across his lap while still on the tree branch. "What should I wear?" I asked looking up at him.

He started frowning. "Get the hell off of me!" He kicked me out of the tree. "Neji! I'll kick your ass." I got up feeling so confused. "You're so beautiful it makes me mad!" He stood on the branch looking like he didn't know what to do with himself.

"So you physically abuse me?" I questioned his actions.

"Get yourself together cloud eyes, and honestly I'd say I'm pretty average. Like any girl in the village can beat me, especially Sakura she's so pretty. Don't you agree?" I asked him. "Is this a trap." He asked.

"No I just said that Sakura was pretty...don't you agree? It's a simple yes or no question." I said. "Yes she's pretty." He said. "I know right! Her pink hair really brings out her green eyes." I jumped back into the tree. "Don't knock me out of the tree this time...asshole." I told him.

"Maybe." He smirked at me. "It's not funny Neji, I have the right to be a little pissed off right now." I said putting my head back on his lap.

"But no matter how much you're mad at me, you can't seem to stay away from me. You're even laying on me now." He said poking my forehead. "Is there something wrong with that?" I rolled my eyes. "No...about that date it's going to be next week on a Friday night. I'll pick you up." He said.

"What do you mean pick me up, we are always at eachothers house." I question and he rubbed his forehead. "You're going to get ready at your house."

"Okay." I agreed but I don't have any dress clothes. So I'll make a plan to go out with Sakura and shop with her.

Out of nowhere bugs started swarming around us, I know exactly who's around.

"Shino! Stop immediately." I yelled out. "How did you know it was me?" He said. "I don't know, I just guessed." I said sarcastically.

"How are you shino? What are you doing here?" I asked him. "I'm just taking a walk, and I'm fine." He said. I jumped out the tree to talk to him. "Why are you taking a walk?" I asked him. "Because I want to, is that wrong?"

"No shino, I was just asking." I said. "Why are you here with Neji?" He asked just obviously trying to mock me. "Just hanging out."

"See you later." Shino kept walking and I wave bye to him.

"Do you want to go home?" Neji asked. "Which home? Mine or yours?"

"Where do you want to go?" He asked. "Mine please."

"Let's go." He held my hand and we started walking home. "Would you ever want to get a house with me." Neji asked with a straight face. "That would be nice, why are you asking." I asked.
"Because we graduate this school year, and the school year is almost over. We both live alone and we basically already live together. I want you in my future." He told me.

After he told me that my stomach got butterflies to the point that I felt like throwing up. I've never felt like this before. "Neji..." I quickly pushed him aside so I could vomit.

I woke up on my couch laying on Neji. I sat up feeling so confused and looked at him. "Are you feeling okay?" I shook my head up and down. "Why am I wearing your shirt, I have clothes in my room you could have put on me." I looked at his bare chest.

"You passed out in your own puke, and you just look better in my clothes." He said. "Oh I forgot I'm sorry. You just told me you wanted me in your future and-" Neji cut me off. "It's okay if I'm not the one, the next person sure is lucky." He said and I rolled my eyes.

"I'm just saying you caught me off guard. I'm not going anywhere Neji, I'll be here to bug you until we have grey hair." I layed back on his lap. "I'm glad." He said relaxing.

-As I'm walking to school Neji is nowhere to be found. I shrugged it off and kept walking.

"Hey Mao...are you not with Neji? That's surprising." Naruto came from behind me. "Yeah I guess he woke up without waking me."

I got to class and I didn't see Neji in his seat, but in the seat next to Tenten...making out with her!-

I woke up with my heart beating out of my chest. I looked over and saw Neji in my bed, it's the weekend we don't have school.

It was a dream Mao!

I know that, but why am I still sad?

I moved over to lay on top of him for comfort, even though he did it! In my dream though. Hehe.

"What are you doing?" He asked in a sleepy voice. "You cheated on me." I quietly said.
