Chpt2: You're alright

We got to Naruto's little apartment and I set all my stuff down and relaxed for awhile and watched some tv with Naruto.

A few minutes passed, "Naruto I'm going to go get in your shower." He nodded his head. I went in Narutos bathroom and got ready for a shower.

Narutos POV

"Where's Mao?!" Neji said busting into my apartment. "Hey Neji! Want to watch tv with me?" I offered. "No where is Mao? She stole something of mine!" He rudely asked. "She's taking a shower so you can wait and watch tv wi-" he ran off into the bathroom. "Hey Neji! Don't go in there! She naked!" I shouted and he didn't listen.

My face went red with embarrassment for mao. "Oh no" I whispered to myself.

Mao's POV
My eyes widen when I see Neji burst into the bathroom. "Neji get out!" I tried covering myself. Instead of getting out he came in the shower with me fully clothed. "Oh my god Neji! You perv! Get ouuut!" My face felt hot.

"Give it to me!" Neji exclaimed. "Give what to you?!" I yelled in embarrassment. "Your getting your clothes wet! Your going to be all soggy!" I yelled again. And with that he took his clothes off...all of it.

I went numb, I just looked straight forward no eye contact or anything.

"Please leave." I asked with the dignity I had left. "I feel so violated." I said.

"Give me my hair tie! I know you have it! It's the only one I have!" He shouted. I closed my eyes, "Is that what you wanted? God! I'm so embarrassed!" I put my hands in my face. Neji tilted his head and pushed my hair out of my face. "It's nothing I haven't seen before, peasant."

I frowned for a second, then I realized. HIS BYAKUGAN! "No!" I screamed and fell to the corner trying to cover my body. "Hmm, this is the most emotion I have seen in you. You're always like 'I don't care' or 'I hate people' or 'everyone is a pain'" He put his hand up to his chin like he was thinking.

Then he started making funny faces. "What are you doing!" I stood back up on my feet. "Trying to see you smile, I've never seen it before." I rolled my eyes,"Get out." I pushed his chest for him to step out, but I accidentally pushed him too hard.

He fell back and grabbed my hand for support, I slipped on the water and landed on top of him.

The the door bust open. "You guys have been in here too long did he hurt- o-oh! Did you finally tell him you liked him Mao!?" Naruto asked looking as eager as a dog.

Kill me. "NARUTO!" I hurried and put on my clothes and locked myself in Narutos room.
Neji knocked on the door three time, "I don't really care if the peasant likes the king." He said. "Oh my goodness just shut up!" I screamed. Then I heard silence.

Then a loud boom. Neji kicked the door in. "My door." Naruto whispered. "Who do you think you yelling at?" Neji calmly asked. "You hyuga!" I yelled. Even though I'm brown skinned I felt like I was blushing all over.  Felt like I was on the verge of crying, I could feel pins and needles in my throat.

Neji rolled his eyes, "Why do you think you're so tough?" He said to me. I looked down and tapped my bare feet on the ground. "Why do you always call me weak? I'm as fast and as strong as you,so why do you call me weak?"

Neji pushed my hair behind my ear and came closer to me, "Because you are." He thumped my forehead. "Peasant."

"Your hair tie is on the sink in the bathroom, please get it and leave me alone." I looked up at Neji. "I knew where it was the whole time, I just wanted to mess with you because, I think you alright." He walked out of the room got his hair tie and left.

Naruto came and sat on the bed with me. "I'm sorry Mao I didn't kno-" I gripped him up by the collar. "What does that mean!" I shook him back an forth. "I don't know! You're alright!" Naruto said. I stopped shaking him and plopped back on to the bed.
——-later that day——-
"Let's go to ichiraku's ramen place and invite some friends. Like shikumaru, Sakura, and your BFF Tenten...and maybe Shino but he's probably not going to want to come." He said. Maybe I should go. It's best to get my mind off neji.

"And let's invite Neji!" Naruto said. "You guys have great chemistry!" I smacked my forehead. "He's not going to want to come." I said with a straight face.

"Of course he will, I'll call him right now!" Naruto said. I don't know why Naruto always talks in capital letters, I love his energy but sometimes it get obnoxious.

"He answered." Naruto whispered. "Hey, do you want to come to the ramen place with me, Mao, and some other friends?" Naruto asked.

"It's Mao, some other friends, and I... but okay I'll come." Neji said correcting his grammar.
"He said he's coming!" Naruto jumped up and down.

"Do you like him or something? You're more excited then me." Naruto grabbed me around the neck with his arm, "No but im exited for you! He going to be your boyfriend! Then you two are going to kis-" I stopped him, "enough uzumaki. Let's just go."

Today was off, I cared about today more then I did any other day. What a pain. We meet everybody at the ramen place and sat down. I sat in front of Neji on purpose. I started using my midorigan and payed close attention to Neji.

Neji's intentions: "Get her to be my girl friend."

"What!" I exclaimed while whispering. Neji turned his head and he looked confused. "What's wrong Fuji? Your eyes look really green today...oh." He said blushing a little. "You caught me." He tried to laugh it off.

What a pain, now I have to go through this.

"Do you have something to tell me hyuga?" I asked.

Neji's intentions: "Get her to follow me"

I shook my head and stood up and followed Neji. He took me right out side or the ramen place to talk to me. "So you know how Naruto said you liked me?" He said with a straight face. I shook my head and rolled my eyes. "I like you too. But that doesn't mean that you're not a peasant and I'm not better then you, because I am better then you." He explained. I stopped using my midorigan at this point.

"You're not better then me Hyuga, but go on." I said.
During this whole conversation nobody has made a single emotion with our face.
"Anyway, do you want to be my girlfriend?" He asked me. "No." I answered back.
