Chapter 16

Mina's POV

"I need to inform our professor about this, and let the university decide her punishment. I think she will be suspended atleast. It would be difficult to get the money back." Chaeyoung explained as we were walking out of Joy's house.

"What are you thinking of now?" Chaeyoung asked noticing that I dozed off.

"I'm thinking about... What I can do to help my friends. To help one of my friends not to go to jail and to help another friend not to be in so much stress and end her own life." I sighed as I look away thinking of ways I can do to help them.

"But that's a huge amount of money." Chaeyoung asked looking at me.

"If you don't have money, you must work." I said smiling brightly at her.

"Good girl. Let's go." Chaeyoung also smiled proudly at me and patted my head.

"Jobs that are easy and pay fast. What are they? I'm really in need of money now." I posted on my secret account. I am now at the apartment because Chaeyoung immediately drove me home.

"Aren't you rich? Why don't you ask for it from your mother? That's the easiest way!" A friend reply.

"No. I don't want to get it by begging. I want to earn it by myself." I disagree right away from that reply.

So I am now working at the jobs Chaeyoung introduced me to. Everytime I do mistakes, she will laugh and help me after. It's kinda hard since I'm not used to do works but I'll be fine as long as there's Chaeyoung who will guide me. I also have fun while earning so it's a win-win situation for me.

I'm counting the money I earned at the job. It's still not enough but I'm getting there. I have to earn it.

"The money cannot double itself with just counting you know?" Chaeyoung said as she ate tteokbokki.

"I worked my ass off... And all I got is,₩72,169 only." I pouted.

"It's  not easy to earn money these days. How about this... We go to jersey shop and ask the owner if we can pay by installments." Chaeyoung suggested and I agreed to her idea. We walk to the jersey shop to talk to the owner.

"Ma'am... Is it possible to pay you by installments? We cannot gather enough money to pay it at once." I kindly asked him once I'm seated.

"It doesn't matter. I don't even need your money now." Jinyoung, the owner shop, said while fanning himself.

"What!? You won't bill us?" I asked astonishingly. I mean why? Could it be that it's free? No it's impossible. It's a huge amount of money.

"I won't bill you guys. Mr. Seo called and told me that the student who run away with money has already been suspended. So I couldn't be heartless and bill you guys." Jinyoung said.

"But it's ₩1,803,915" I reasoned out.

"All the jerseys have been embroidered with the student names. It's not possible to sell them to others anyway. Most of all I'm a good-looking person with a kind heart. This amount of money is nothing to me." Jinyoung explained and flipped his imaginary long hair.

"Thank you. Thank you so much. You are indeed beautiful. You are not only good-looking but also kind. Your shop is also high-class. Thank you very much." I praised him and bowed my head.

"You are exaggerating." The flustered Jinyoung playfully slapped my arms.

I immediately go outside to tell Chaeyoung the good news. I saw her walking in circles. She's so cute but feelings aside. I need to tell her the news.
