Chapter 18

Mina's POV

"Sadness unnie, I think this is more than enough." I stopped sadness unnie from putting too much clothes on my suitcase.

"M'lady,  you've never been to mountain areas. We have to be well prepared." Sadness unnie said as she added more.

"But... but it's just one night. You've loaded too many stuff into these. It's gonna be too heavy." I said as I looked at my suitcase.

"No, not that one." I immediately said when Sadness unnie put an electric mosquito killer in my suitcase.

"My lady, this is for mosquito protection. When mosquitoes come near you. Bang! Backhand. Bang forehand." Sadness unnie swing the mosquito killer like she's playing tennis.

"So those mosquitoes can't come near you. It's really necessary. Take it with you." Sadness unnie put that on the case.

Chaeyoung suddenly opened the door which makes me and Sadness unnie look at her. Why does she keeps entering my  apartment like she owns this? This is such a mess. I facepalm myself.

"Mina, have you seen my jacket? " Chaeyoung asked.

"It's right there. It's always there." I pointed at the chair.

"Oh there you are, the cool jacket." Chaeyoung grabbed the leather jacket and hugged it.

"What about the new comic books I just rent?" Chaeyoung asked.

"They're right here. When will you get them back? How many times do I have to tell you these?" I said as Chaeyoung took the comic books from the nightstand.

"I have read this one... And this one. Oh! Hello, Aunt Sadness." Chaeyoung immediately fixed her posture and bow.

"Hello. You just realized that I'm here?" Sadness unnie said. Chaeyoung smiled embarrassed.

"You're helping her pack?" Chaeyoung asked.

"Yes, I am. By the way... Have you two lived together?" Sadness unnie giggled.

"Sadness unnie! It's not like that! It's not." I denied. I saw Chaeyoung laughing and wiggling her eyebrows at Sadness unnie.

"Chaeyoung-ah!" I slapped Chaeyoung. Sadness unnie might misunderstood us since she loves making issues.

"Ouch! Your niece has hell mighty hands." Chaeyoung said so I pushed her off the bed.

"So I'm leaving for work now. I'll come and pick you up tomorrow morning." Chaeyoung pat my head.

"Good bye." Chaeyoung bowed at Sadness unnie and waved good bye at me.

"Pretty and charismatic. I like it!" Sadness unnie squealed.

"Unnie... You shouldn't ask her that. It would make her awkward." I sighed.

"Not awkward at all. She seemed like it when I asked. So what relationship do you actually have with that pretty girl?" Sadness unnie asked with seriousness on her tone.

"We are just junior and senior." I said as I fixed my clothes again.

"Hmm?" Sadness unnie look at me,not believing what I say.

"Mhmm. It was because she just broke up with her girlfriend. She may be lonely and like to tease me. She has been clinging on me lately because she is lonely." I said not looking at unnie.

"Oh... So she's not into boys? Then, you two will look good together!" Sadness unnie clapped.

"Unnie... No. We're not like that. She just likes hangout with me because she's lonely." I said.
