Book 2: chapter 1
~
Night time was Shoto's favorite times of the long days he lived, maybe it was just a part of him that was unwilling to let you go. Or maybe it was just how he felt when he layed on his bed and looked out of the window in his dorm room.
Times like that gave him time to think about things- life after school, what he wished he ate for lunch, how much he hated his damn father.
But when it was very very early in the morning, before the sun was even up, Shoto would be up and getting ready for another five hours of searching the building for clues- for anything that would show that you were still out there.
Most of the class had already given up, of course they would have- its been almost year for heavens sake! But some students in the class still had hope- Izuku, Uraraka, Bakugo, Kirishima and Denki to be exact, and you can't forget Shoto of course.
Each of those students would wake up at ungodly hours of the morning to search the places you enjoyed, maybe it had been a waste since they hadn't found anything since three months- but they were kids so of course they wouldn't give up too easily.

Todoroki stepped out into the silent hallway and shut the door quietly, if Aizawa caught them out again they'd all be dead meat for sure, who knows how the group would be punished?
But, he still jogged down the hall and out of the building knowing that he could get caught at any time, it was worth it though- that's what he thought to himself.
"Todoroki! Over here," The boy turned his head to see the group of teens in all black clothing hidden behind a tree, he lifted his hood up and walked towards the group.
"So where are we going to today?" Denki asked as Todoroki stood in front of him.
"I know this is kind of a stretch," Izuku pulled his hood down and took a deep breath, "but maybe we should check the old base. That was the last place she was after all, we could probably find something there?"
"No way! What if they're still there!" Bakugo wasn't a very big fan of the place, not after the last time they went anyways- they were nearly caught after the police chased the group ten blocks down.
"No, I think he's right Bakugo. This is the best option we've got now."
The group was silent after Kirishima spoke out, he was right they couldn't deny it, but no one wanted to go back there. No one wanted to relive that day- especially not Todoroki, but this was their only shot.
~
"Holy hell, this place is stinks."
As the group climbed through a broken window of the building, the strong stench of mildew and dust filled their senses. The room was messy, paper thrown around the room, glass scattered around- it looked like the place had been robbed.
"Okay," Shoto started as Izuku climbed through the window, "I'd prefer for us to split up, but we haven't been here in a while. We don't know if anything is here, so we stay together." The group nodded while Bakugo let out a grunt and pushed past Todoroki.
"Okay, lets get on with it then- we don't have all day."
The six of them walked in a small cluster, the building was completely dark not even a single light was on as they searched the building. Todoroki lit a small flame on his hand and led the way.
"Guys, I don't have a good feeling about this," Denki announced, causing the group to stop in their tracks and look back at him.
"Yeah, something doesn't feel right," Kirishima nodded as Uraraka scratched the nape of her neck. The aura around them tensed up and they broke out into quiet murmurs.
"Come on guys, don't be pussies!"
"Kachan! Don't say that, I know that you feel it too!" Almost if on cue, the flame in Todoroki's hand went out.
"What the hell! Turn that thing back on you bastard!" This was Bakugo speaking, obviously. The room felt even darker than before, no one could see each other.
"Calm down," the flame lit up again and everyone faced Todoroki, "It was probably... what's wrong?" The group was silent, their gazes fixed on Todoroki's direction, Izuku was the one who broke the dreadful silence they had created.
"Y/N!" He speeded past Todoroki towards the figure down the hall.
Todoroki's heart stopped as he turned around- you were there, it was you. How? How were you just standing there, why hadn't you seen them sooner? The fire on Todoroki's hand glowed on your face, but as he looked in your eyes he couldn't see the sparkle they always held.
"Midoriya! No!"
Todoroki threw his hand in the air and sent a wall of ice in front of Izuku before he could reach you.
"What the hell! That's her.." As Todoroki melted the ice and stood by his green haired friend, Izuku's eyes widened as he saw the sight before him.
"Nice catch!"
Before the group stood someone they had never expected to see, someone they didn't know- a blonde haired girl with a school girl outfit.
"Who the hell is that?" Kirishima whispered to Bakugo who just shook his head and lifted his fists up.
"How'd you know?" The girl stepped toward the group with her hands behind her back and a grin on her face.
"Your eyes." Shoto stated as he stepped a bit foward," Y/n. Where is she."
"Well, it's no fun to just tell you the answer," the girl whined and pouted her lips.
"Just fucking tell us!" Bakugo walked up to the girl but was dragged back by both Denki and Kirishima. "Cool it, this could be our only chance to get her back," and with Uraraka's words Bakugo settled down and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Anyways," the girl dusted her skirt off and smiled, "I'm Toga, and I do know about Y/n's whereabouts."
After almost a year, weeks and weeks of wondering- praying that you were alive and safe, Todoroki could finally take a breath of relieve, of course it last for long though.
"Is she safe?" Todoroki's voice cracked as he spoke, the fear in his heart rose as Toga replied.
"No."
Her mischievous grin left her face and the tension left, replaced with the feeling of sadness.
"I may be your enemy," the girl began as her hands fell to the hem of her skirt, " but I want to help you. I want to save Y/N."
