{Chapter 1: Pegasus Academy}

~Angel's POV~

A loud yell had woken me up from my peaceful slumber. "LAST STOP PEGASUS ACADEMY!" the bus driver yelled as his voice echoed through the empty bus. This was my stop, but when I looked out the window as I stood up I saw a fucking forest. Well that and my reflection. My hair being very clear in my reflection considering half of it is fully bleached and the other is just black, my natural hair color. They picked me up from the city and now we had to be a solid 10 miles from the city. Why the fuck would a school need to this far from civilization?

I quickly grabbed my black backpack and exited the bus mumbling a small 'thank you'. Once off the bus I was greeted by a huge grey brick wall. The wall looked about 2 or 3 stories tall. I'm not exactly the tallest so this wall was undoubtedly taller than me. Me standing at 5'3 can't really compare to a large wall.

"What the fuck" I said as I looked up at the ginormous wall. Again, what kind of school is this? I was at one of the corners of the school so anyone with common sense would put the entrance in the middle. I walked along the sidewalk as I continued to analyze the wall.

"Is this some kind of prison?" I said as I approached the middle I was greeted with colored lights. There was a gate in the wall. I carefully approached the white gate as I held my hand out to touch it. I grabbed one of the bars noticing that it was metal with white paint.

"Hey there!" A voice said. I jumped slightly at the voice before looking up from the gate to see a dark skinned boy on the other side of the gate. He seemed to be about the same height as me, he had curly black hair with a single white streak in the front part of his hair. The boy wore a friendly smile as he waved at me.

"Um hello" I said as I arched my brow slightly at the boy. I looked him up and down as I tried to figure out who the hell this kid was. He wore a white collared button up dress shirt with a light blue necktie and navy blue pants. His accessories were normal just a bit out of place, he had a bright orange arm band around his tricep.

"Give me a second, the gate takes a minute" the Black haired boy said as he pressed buttons on the side of the gate. After several minutes of waiting the gate finally started opening just very slowly. It was like one of those anime's where the main character enters a new world except really awkward and slow and a lot more creaking from the gate.

Once the gate opened enough I slipped through the gate. Once through i was greeted with a warm smile from the black haired boy. "I'm Matthew, I'm your guide" Matthew said as he held a hand out to me.

I hesitantly shook his hand. He quickly released my hand before he started walking. I followed behind him as we started walking towards a one story building that was pretty close to the gate. We were just following a dark grey stone path that I assume leads to all the buildings in this place.

"This is the office and infirmary" Matthew said as we approached clear doors with white frames. Once we got close the doors slid open. Automatic doors? Guess this school is fancy.

The minute I stepped into the building I was greeted with a gust of wind. They have air conditioners? It's cold enough as is, why are they still blasting the AC? "Why is it so cold in here? It's already cold enough outside" I said to Matthew.

Matthew just continued walking to the front desk. He was talking to the lady in the front so I decided not to stand. They had couches in here so why not sit down instead of standing in here for however long.

As I sat there with nothing to do I spaced out. I was spaced out for who knows how long. I was brought out of my trance like state when I felt someone poke my arm. I quickly shook my head as I tried to figure out what was happening. I noticed a strawberry blonde haired girl standing in front of me. I see girl but she looked older than me. She definitely looked young but not young enough to be a high school student.
