~Angel's POV~
"Good Morning Sirius Academy, hurry and get ready for classes before they start up at 9:00 today. Today's breakfast is whatever your council students have made, I didn't check" The council president says over the intercom.
"There's intercoms in the dorms? How annoying" I grumbled as I shifted my position in bed. I groaned as I rubbed my eyes. I looked down at my outfit feeling the uncomfortable fabric rubbing against my skin. "oh shit, I slept in my uniform. whatever, I'm just gonna go wash up a little" I say as I got up from my bed and grabbed my toiletries and made my way down to the girls bathrooms. hm there's not many students down here at this time, I guess it's understandable considering its 7 in the morning.
I set my bag of toiletries to make myself look less dead. Man, I can't believe I woke up this early,I look like a zombie, whatever, I'll wander around school before breakfast. I put my items back in my room throwing on a spritz of vanilla scented perfume and leave the dorm building to walk around.
I walk around the open field and find a lonely tree in the corner of it. It was the same as any other tree in the school, a cherry blossom tree but this one had an old tire swing hanging on one of the branches along with a bunch of flowers surrounding the tree and bits of the grass were overgrown. hmm, I guess i'll go chill over there until they announce breakfast is ready.
I sat under the tree in a peaceful silence as I watched the pastel pink petals fall to the ground slowly as some were carried away by the wind. "It's peaceful here" I mumbled to myself as I leaned against the bark of the large tree.
"Yeah it is" A disembodied voice said. I look behind me to see no one there. I quickly look all around me seeing no one in sight.
"Hello? Is someone there?" I said as I stood up from my comfortable place on the grassy floor.
"Up" The voice said simply.
I followed the instructions looking up only to see the black haired boy with pale skin from the day before I had bumped into on my way to the garden. I looked him up and down observing the boy. He wore the boy's Vega uniform with a small bunny ears pin on his jacket. "Didn't see you there," I said, still looking up at him.
"You new?" He asked as he looked down at me with an unreadable expression.
"What gave it away?" I asked with a small laugh.
"Well no one really comes to this part of the school especially not this early in the morning, most of the time it's some people asking people out here but that's in the afternoons so I hate being here. They're always so cheesy it makes me jealous" The Vega boy said as he looked up at the leaves and branches above his head.
"So is this like some sort of confession tree?" I asked as I touched the rope on the tire swing.
"Yeah basically" He replies simply, his voice never changing from his monotone.
"So I assume you're a loner since you're out here all alone" I asked as I sat down on the tire swing but keeping my feet on the floor feeling the uncut grass tickle my ankles.
"I guess you can say that. I just don't get along with people that well" The black haired boy said with a small sigh.
"Damn that sucks"
"What about you? As a new student you don't exactly know how things work here so you probably get clowned on a lot" He said with an amused expression.
"Surprisingly not, just students from other academies looking at me like I'm an alien" I replied as I remembered all the times I was walking or talking with anyone from another house.
