"That's not completely true, others also bring happiness, love, and family. I know you have the kwamis but don't you miss humans?" Kitty finally snaps "Of course I do! But when it ultimately fails no one will save me cause no one ever saves me! Do you know what happens when no one saves you?! You have to save yourself! And this time I know for a fact I won't have enough strength to save myself." She starts off in a snappy yell and ends just above a sad whisper. "When the time comes for me to leave I'll be sad but I know it is for the best. You guys are heroes I'm a cat thief who only cares about herself. If this building was under attack I would save me and the kwamis and that's it." He's quiet for a moment "I don't believe you, I don't believe if any one of my brothers and I were in trouble you wouldn't help, I think you would be the first to help us. Just like we would be the first people to help you." She is too stunned to respond, when she finally can she hears footsteps leaving. They stop at the door "I'm sorry Kitty but you need to accept that you aren't alone anymore, whether you like it or not." With that, he leaves.

The next the Justice League members meet up to make their disunion. They bring in Kitty who is transformed to listen to their discussion. Everyone sits as the bat boys present their findings. "Hello everyone today we are gathered to discuss Kitty Noir a fallen hero," Red Robin starts "you make it sound like I'm dead!" She chimes in, she is ultimately ignored as they continue. "Me and my brothers have decided to go beyond just deciding if she is dangerous, oh no here is Kitty Noir's full story." Red Robin takes a breath before continuing. "23 years ago Kitty Noir was born to two Bakers. She had what to the outside world would have been considered a normal childhood but that was far from the truth. Kitty was forced to be perfect, with no mistakes, she was told to be loved by everyone, and if she wasn't then she needed to change. This went on for years, specifically until she was 15. Now at age 15 everything for her changed, she received a miraculous, the miraculous of the Ladybug. She became one of Paris' heroes, once she became a hero she called the Justice League for assistant only to be brushed off. One year later her friends left her for a liar that transferred to her school. This liar hated kitty and did everything to make it seem like she was an awful person. This eventually spread to her entire school. Another year has past and everyone a particularly hard akuma came named Miracle Queen, Miracle Queen forced all of Kitty's temporary heroes out of hiding. Now temporary heroes are people Kitty trusted enough to give them a miraculous when their skills were needed in battle. Moving on to the battle, in the fight Kitty made a mistake when trying to get to her master, this caused her master to fall in battle. Once he fell she lost another person who was important to her and from there everyone else. The most important loss was the loss of her lover, The old Chat Noir, in the pamphlet, Robin is handing out you will see why it was so important as well as the significance of each loss. We will give you a moment." While the others are reading the pamphlet the bat boys approach Kitty. "So am I right so far?" Red Robin asks excitedly, she sighs but nods her head. All the boys lean in close "so your name is Marinette Dupian-Cheng?" Kitty looks him in the eye and nods her head "Now you see why I left everything behind, it was awful, and I swore that no know would ever hurt me again. But I guess I failed in that because I ended up doing that to myself in the process." They wait for her breathing to even a bit before Nightwing talks "We won't tell them who you are, you'll have to do that on your own. Because once you are strong enough to open back up again, you will be strong enough to save yourself." With that, the batboys turn away from Marinette and continue with their presentation. "From there her life was hell, she lost everything, her family, her friends, her master, and her lover. Those were the days she decided no one would hurt her anymore and at 18 after defeating HawkMoth she vanished. Her parents who while didn't trust their daughter, still put out a missing persons report that lead to a cold case. Kitty while traveling decided to take back all the miraculous of the world and protect them. This lead to her capture, or our staged victory, Kitty could have escaped anytime. The only thing that we were struggling with was," they turn to kitty "why do you say the miraculous belong to you, from what we researched they belong to the lost organization the Order of Miraculous?" Kitty smiles sadly "there is a reason it is lost. My master was the last member of the guardian when they were destroyed by their own creation, a senti-monster named Feast. Once the monster was defeated the Order was restored, but they were weak from being lost to time and the league of assassins took them out for the second time. This would technically make me the last member of the order. Meaning I am the Grand Guardian of the miraculous and protector of the balance of the world, not that I do much." Kitty finishes her sad smile still present. It takes less than a moment before Wonder Woman and Aquaman get out of their seat walk towards Kitty "We apologized Grand Guardian for the disrespect we as the Justice League have given to you." She bows with Aquaman bowing right beside her. Kitty backs up in shock "Ummm no need to bow?" She replies awkwardly. Both of them get up and smile at Kitty before, returning to their seats. "So are you guys going to tell us if she is a threat or not?" Superman asks followed by Batman "and her name?" The boys look at Kitty "She isn't a threat but her name is up to her," Red Hood remarks looking hopeful at her. Kitty gets up and turns to everyone there. She looks at Nightwing and for the first time in a long time, she is unsure about what to do. She has always had a plan, even when getting 'caught' by the Justice League she had one, but looking at him, truly looking at him, she is unsure. Everything in her heart is telling her to say her name, but her head is telling her to get out of there. She looks to the other bats and sees a whole lot of hope, she looks back to Nightwing and sees it too. She doesn't just see hope, she sees love, a love she has never seen before. It wasn't childish puppy love or obsessive or even love for family. She looks at this part of him and makes her decision. She turns away from him with tears in her eyes, because she feels it too, she fell for Nightwing, a man she doesn't know the name of. She looks to everyone, then back at the bat boys, "I'm sorry, I guess I'm not strong enough." Is all she says, the boys run to her "Kaalki get me out of here!" She calls out. Nooroo who has been on her shoulder this entire time whispers in her ear "Pleas Miss Marinette, don't do this, you'll be so unhappy." She looks at the boys who are now right in front of her with pleading expressions to stay. She breaks and falls to her knees and cries knowing she would have never been able to walk through the portal, to leave them behind. As she cries Nightwing pulls her close and hugs her, from the portal hundreds of Kwamis appear worried for their guardian. "Kitty I told you, you aren't alone anymore because even if you can't save yourself, I'll save you, please stay." He pleads with her "but what if you don't make it?" Her voice is broken and small "I'll make it." is all he says" they stand up in each other arms Kitty looks on to the worried eyes of the Justice League "Plagg Claws In!" She de-transforms and pulls down her hood, her beautiful blue eyes shining, "My name is Marinette Dupain-Cheng, I am the last living member of the Order of the Miraculous, and protector of the world's balance." Her voice is proud and strong, truly happy with the decision she made, as it leads her back to a new family and maybe something more. "So Young Guardian, what do you plan to do now?" Wayzz the ever-wise one asks, she looks to him and smirks "Well I've traveled a lot stealing back the Miraculous, I think it high time I completed my other duties as Grand Guardian." "Which is?" Robin asks, She gives everyone a radiant smile "Bring back balance, the scales are too tipped and I know just where to start" she looks to Batman "I'm gonna have to extend my visit with your boys, Gotham City is where I'm needed the most," he raises an eyebrow "and how are you gonna live there? You need to exist to move." She thinks for a moment before turning to Red Robin "You think you could help with my problem?" He smirks "I'm so glad you asked, I already have everything ready."

Red Robin wasn't lying when he said he had everything planned. He created a fake id, made her an American citizen, and even had locations for her to move into, and start whatever she needed to do. A few weeks later and Marinette was now Marinette Fu. Now she is standing in front of the place she'll hopefully call home. There is a small shop underneath an apartment on the outskirts of the shopping district. As she walks into the building she can see the potential it radiates. Her creativity is working on overdrive as she studies every floorboard, wall, and window. Suddenly "Do you like it?" Is heard from behind her, unprepared she jumps up and shrikes "Eeeeekk!" immediately she turns and is face to face with someone who looks unfamiliar but his voice and aura says it is Nightwing. The man starts laughing at her reaction as she pouts, "that was adorable, I didn't know the infamous Kitty Noir could get so scared" he eventually laughs out. Her facial expression is unimpressed "Ha, ha, what do I owe the pleasure Nightwing?" He smiles "My name is Richard Grayson but I go by Dick, and I wanted to see if you liked the place we picked out for you," she turns away and looks at the place she will call home "It's lovely, and I already know what it will be and I'm going to call it." "Oh, and that is?" She turns and gives him her most jaw-dropping smile "It will be a bakery and coffee shop called Lady Luck's," he barely hears her words as he was distracted by the girl he wants to get to know more and more. He chuckles "I like it, but I've been meaning to ask how do you plan on bringing balance to Gotham?" She turns to him "Easy, so within Gotham is a bunch of negative energy so my coffee and pastries I will have potions and spells in and on them so the healing magic will be disrupted amongst the Gothamites, once that happens it will start to even out, people will be kinder and have more luck. I also plan to get rid of dangerous souls of rogues by purifying them, so no deaths." From behind them "I normally don't allow magic in my city but that sounds like a good plan to me, especially the no killing," she looks behind Dick and sees the other bat boys and Batman. "Hello everyone!" She smiles, everyone replies back as Marinette tells them her plan for her new place. And three weeks later Lady Luck's opens, when you walk in you are greeted with pristine white wood floors, the walls are a light gray and the accents all around the room are light pink, pastel red, and pastel yellow. When looking at the counter you can see hundreds of different types of pastries and cakes. Behind the counter are three coffee machines each customs made for her shop, I mean they were made by her using magic, but still custom. In one corner of the shop are a bookshelf, rug, beanbags, and a low to the ground small couch with a coffee table in the center. On the wall opposite to the book corner is a tall long table with every other seat being placed right in front of an outlet. The rest of the room is filled with small tables and chairs. What people don't know was Marinette has placed a calling spell, so anyone who walks through her door will be less aggressive and instead will find peace within the shop, the only thing is the spell works too good and it put Tim to sleep.
