Rainbow Society in the Panvel region of Mumbai is home to many successful professionals. It is also home to two sisters, Suhanika and Anamika Khanna. These two are the only family for each other, but their paths have diverged drastically. Although they live under the same roof, they are strangers to each other. Suhanika always tries to speak to Anamika, but Anamika consistently ignores her. She doesn't want to see Suhanika's face, but she has to every day. She can't escape her reality, and the truth is hard for her to realize and accept.
It's a normal day, and both sisters are getting ready in their rooms. A little while later, Anamika walks out of her room, talking on the phone. She looks serious and is assuring someone that she'll meet them after work. Her eyes meet Suhanika's, but she quickly turns away. After talking for a few more minutes, Anamika disconnects the call, picks up her bag and belongings. Meanwhile, Suhanika calls out to her.
"Ana, nashta taiyar hai, aaja nashta karle, fir chalte hain sath mein," she says.
"I'm not hungry. Thanks for your concern," Anamika replies coldly.
"Ana! You're angry at me. At least, don't punish yourself," Suhanika says, trying to convince her sister.
"I don't want to talk to you. Anyway, why am I even talking to you? I'm leaving," Anamika says and leaves the house while Suhanika sighs deeply.
Suhanika and Anamika are CID cops and are very diligent on the work front. They were recently transferred to the Mumbai branch of CID. They are real sisters yet are apart. Suhanika is hurt by Anamika's words. There's more to the story that conspired between the two siblings. Anamika is angry with Suhanika for a reason she shouldn't be. There's something hidden from Anamika, and in her anger, she doesn't want to hear her sister out. Suhanika sighs deeply.
"Kaise samjhaun tujhe, Ana!? Jaisa tu samajhti hain, vo sach hi nahi hain. Ek baar toh mujhe samjhane ka mauka de, Ana! Main ... main sab thik kar dungi," Suhanika murmurs as she watches her sister leave the house.
She sighs deeply and leaves for the bureau without having anything; it's going to be a long day.

CID Bureau
The bureau authority is now in the capable hands of Ruhana, ACP Pradyuman's beloved daughter. She was promoted to the post due to her hard work and the cases she has solved. She has all the attributes of being a team leader. The senior officers have welcomed this decision with joy and pride since they have been involved in undercover missions and haven't been able to look into the CID bureau for some time.
However, Ruhana wanted Abhijeet and Daya to take over the authority, but they explained that it's her right and she should avail it. Today, the two senior officials are away, so the bureau is bustling with activity. Ruhana is in her cabin, lost in thought. Meanwhile, someone hugs her, prompting her to come out of her trance.
"I'm right on time, Di!" Anamika says.
"Yeah! After arguing and fighting?" Ruhana eyes her.
"Di please! Mujhe us baare mein koi baat nahi karni. Main ja rahi hun cafeteria. Bye!" Anamika says and runs out.
Anamika is close to Ruhana since her late father was friends with Ruhana's father. Anamika has a good bond with Ruhana, more because she feels that Ruhana understands her and does not judge her, unlike her own sister. Ruhana sighs; she doesn't know how to convince Anamika. Meanwhile, she hears a confident voice. She moves out of the cabin, and there's another girl in the bureau.
"Inspector Suhanika reporting on duty!" she says.
Ruhana smiles, shakes hands with her, and introduces her as an ardent cop and a friend to all the others. She asks Purvi to tell Suhanika about the rules and how they work.
"Don't worry, Ruhana! I'll manage with her," Purvi says.
Ruhana smiles and sits at a desk, lost in thought. Someone taps on her desk.
"What happened, Senorita?" he asks.
Ruhana looks up, and it's her best friend and newly promoted senior inspector, Vineet Kumar.
"Vineet! I'm gonna go mad!" she whines.
"Ye toh meri line honi chahiye! After all, main tumhare sath rehta hun," he says teasingly.
"Shut up, Vineet! Agar Abhi sir aur Daya sir hote toh baat aur hoti," Ruhana says.
"Are you worried about these new girls?" Vineet asks.
"Yes! These two are..." Ruhana begins to speak, but a loud commotion causes her to stop, and she gets tense seeing both Suhanika and Anamika arguing again.
