Ruhana and Rajat visit the music academy to talk to the owner, Mr. Dilip Sharma, who’s a fast friend of Rakesh. Mr. Dilip doesn’t have any information regarding any cases on which Inspector Rakesh Awasthi was working. However, they find a man lingering near Dilip’s cabin. Ruhana remembers that he was lingering nearby when they came for interrogation earlier. As the two storm out of the cabin, Ruhana leans toward Rajat, sharing her observation.
“Rajat, I suspect this man. Pichhle aadhe ghante se ye Dilip ji ke office ke aas paas hi safai kar raha hai. Mujhe lagta hai yeh hamari baatein sun raha hai, aur zaroor Rakesh ji ke baare mein bhi kuch jaanta hai.” Ruhana says, her tone casting urgency.

“Maine isey Rakesh Awasthi ke ghar ke aas paas bhi dekha tha, shayad Dilip ji ke saath ye wahan bhi aaya tha. Chalo isse baat karte hain.” Rajat suggests.
Ruhana nods, and meanwhile, when the cleaner passes by them, Rajat stops him, and the color on the cleaner’s face fades. Maybe he anticipated it. Ruhana then peers at him.
“Tum Rakesh Awasthi ko jaante ho?”
“Han, madam, wo yahan roj aate the, na. Bade sahab ke saath baithte the wo.” The cleaner replies, his tone filled with fear.
“Achha, aur tum kal unke ghar ke bahar kya kar rahe the?” Rajat questions, his tone carrying urgency.
“Saab, wo toh main Dilip Saab ke saath aaya tha, aur aap ye sab kyun puch rahe ho?” The cleaner asks hesitantly.

“Kyunki, mujhe lagta hai ki tum kuch chhupa rahe ho, aur ab tumhe wo baat hume bata deni chahiye, varna tumhare sath kya hoga, ye main bhi nahi jaanti.” Ruhana threatens him.
“Nahi, madam, main kuch nahi jaanta. Main toh Rakesh ji ko theek se jaanta bhi nahi hoon. Mujhe kaise pata hoga ki wo kab kya karte hain.” The man says.
“Achha, toh hamari baatein kyun sun rahe the? Itna toh tum jaante hi ho ki wo ek retired police wale the, yahan apna waqt bitaane aate the.” Rajat says, staring at him.
The cleaner doesn’t respond but begins to look around. By now, Rajat and Ruhana are sure that this cleaner, Shyam, is involved in Rakesh’s murder. Rajat reaches out to Shyam and pulls out a small packet that he’s been observing. It turns out to be the rare chemical, thallium.
