Reyna's POV
I was on my way to the Carpenters house.
I knew the family, they had a son. He was tall... handsome... but also a bit of a bad boy so I never really talked to him. I was more so on the prep side I guess you could say although my group never second guessed themselves I was always the most insecure.
As I pulled into his driveway I parked the car in the driveway stopping. I opened the door and stepped out then pulled down the back of my shorts... I didn't need any mishaps incase Aaron decides to come home early while I'm babysitting.
I've heard what he does.
I've heard what he thinks.
I've heard lots about him.
Being slightly nervous I rolled my shoulders back and rang the door bell. His little sister answered the door, she was about 6 maybe 5... I couldn't be sure. I quickly wrapped my red-brown hair up into a bun.
"Hello." I smiled down at her with a smile on my face. I could feel my lips cracking beneath my pale pink lipstick.
"Are you the babysitter?" she asked innocently.
"haha yes. Is your mom still here?" I asked.
"No but Aaron is." she said, my heart dropped... talking to Aaron? I could feel an awkward situation approaching.
I used to like Aaron actually... I used to talk to his friends just to keep up with what he was doing and I would go to parties to see him. But around the end of our Junior year he figured it out and told me I needed to get a grip. I was now the class president and killer at computers class.
She took my hand and led me inside, "I'll go get Aaron." as soon as she faced the staircase a roaring yell screamed Aaron's name, "AARON"
He made his way downstairs and at the first glance of me stopped, he then proceeded to walk and then talked to me, "alright. this is Sophie, she needs dinner and she likes dress up. we'll pay you 5 dollars an hour when either me or my parents return. no scary movies and I have to go." he crouched down to Sophie, "be good. now plant one right here," he tapped his cheek and she kissed his cheek. he gave her a hug and then left.
"Aaron likes you." she said then took my hand and led me to the basement, I bonked my head on the low ceiling, "that's why he asked you to babysit. he thinks you're pretty."
I let out a chuckle, "I doubt he does... so what do you want to do?"
"let's play dress up. I'll be the fairy god mother and you can be the maid who I make pretty." she said abruptly.
"alright." i said and then I looked out to see the sea of dress up clothes.

Aaron's POV
leaving my sister with someone like Reyna felt safe. Reyna was trusted by everyone and for good reasons she was recommended by everyone in the neighborhood as a babysitter. not to mention I wouldn't mind seeing her out side of school...
she was always so nice to everyone and that included me. I had never really been a "nice" guy with my friends. We're always looking for some joke and more often than not its about someone when they're right infront of us.
but don't get me wrong I love the guys, Cameron and Nash, I was going to hang out with them tonight.
I stopped infront of the usual spot, the McDonalds just outside of town. I saw them with Clover and some other girl sitting at a table eating. I walked over to them.
"Hey guys." i patted their backs, "Clover." i smiled as I addressed her. she was Nash's new bæ. I turned to the other girl, "and who are you?"
"I'm Lynda. I go to school with Cam. but you better call me Lynn or I'll wring your neck." she said.
"alright. nice to meet you Lynn." I smiled.
I sat down between Cameron and Clover. Cameron put his arm around Lynn, she continued eating. Nash and Clover sat awkwardly. Nash was always so nervous around Clover because they'd been friends for so long. The whole relationship thing between them was new and they both didn't know how to go about it.
"So how did you meet Cameron?" I asked Lynn.
"Oh. Well he and I were partners and we were working really late one night and we just sort of clicked." she said as he nodded and smelled her neck.
"so you're dating?"
"not officially." she said, I looked at Cameron. He laughed.
"I'm going to wait to ask her to be my girlfriend after junior prom in 2 weeks." he said and she nodded.
"do you want to know how Nash asked ME out?" Clover asked.
just as a background clover is a senior. I had known her since we were little and one day she came over in freshmen year and Nash, Cam, her, and I all became really good friends. this year since she's leaving next year Nash asked her out and they really hit it off. She and he were meant to be. they were always so comfortable, although when others talked about their relationships she became a one upper and just HAD to tell them about herself.
"he brought me to a beach just a few miles south of here and while we say around a fire he asked me to go on a date and be his girlfriend." she said and kissed his cheek. Nash just smirked.
"So who exactly did you get to babysit Sophie?" Cameron asked concerned.
"I asked Reyna." I said and the whole table "oooo"-ed except Lynn who looked confused and was silent.
she spoke, "Reyna who?" she asked.
"Reyna Naples... Aaron's little crush." Clover smirked.
"I don't like her. she's just nice and I've heard she's good at babysitting." I defended.
"i know her I think. I sometimes carpool with Brenda and Joe to parties with her." Lynn said, "isn't she class president and super smart?"
"and beyond hot!!" Nash yelled and laughed Clover elbowed him in the stomach then situated his arm around her.
"I guess..." I said and sunk down into my seat embarrassed...
the night could only get worse.
