Reynas POV
"how much further?" I said with a groggy sound, "I'm kind of hungry."
"me too. let's stop and get some pizza, there should be a joint pretty close." he said and then we pulled into a drive thru pizzaria.
the intercom voice came up, "hello how can I help you?"
I sprawled across Aaron and spoke into the microphone, "hi can I have a pizza but with like no crust or sauce?"
"umm so just the cheese?"
"UMM NO. pizza no crust no sauce. and two lemonades." I said, people like this really made me mad.
"alright... is that it?"
"I want breadsticks. with Alfredo." I said sternly, now I was in a bad mood.
"pull up to the third window when your ready."
"thank you." Aaron said and we pulled up.
when we got our pizza I immediately chewed it and it was so good, Aaron slurped on his lemonade and pulled into a motel and looked at me, "we can stop here for the night and I will have to go back home to check in on Sophie."
we got out of the car and walked up to the front desk.
"how may I help you?" the manager said.
"can we have two rooms?" Aaron asked
"well we only have one available, it has two beds however."
"I guess we'll take it."
"great. room 104."
we walked up to the room and Aaron unlocked it. we both walked in, he got into one of the beds. he closed his eyes and I made my way into my bed.
I was up for an hour thinking about today, why were we in the woods? I faintly remember Cassiopea and Troye but I don't know why and then fragments of a drive there came back but it was nothing to really piece together.
I looked at the ceiling and sighed, I turned on my side and layed horizontally.
"Aaron?" my voice broke the silence in the room, "are you up?"
he moaned, "I guess."
"I can't sleep."
"what am I supposed to do about it?"
"I don't know."
"you can lay closer to me I guess if you move the bed or go on the ground or find someway or whatever. but I don't know how much you can get a better sleep in that."
he fell asleep again, within 15 minutes I got up and went into his bed then cuddled close to him, he was a heavy sleeper and his soft snores echoed in my ear as I put my face on his back. I closed my eyes and began to fall asleep.

Aaron's POV
when I woke up my shirt was wet, I got up and saw Reyna drooling on my shirt. I rolled my eyes. I went over to my phone and looked at my messages, they were all from my girlfriend... Emma.
i read through them all:

okay I'm tell shawn and Caitlyn about this.

a group message was formed with Caitlyn, Emma's friend, and Shawn. I read through all the texts and laughed, they were great. I went online and began looking at dogs because Emma was right. A message popped up on my phone from Kayla, my ex.
"call me."
I ignored it, she was crazy with her friends Ellen and Regan. not to mention she cheated on me with her "just friend" Ryan who she had been secretly cheating with me on the whole time.
Reyna woke up and rubbed her eyes, "why are you awake?"
"come on let's go home." I said and helped her out of bed cuz she's incapable. we walked out my dads motel and got in the car. it was a Sunday and I didn't want to be late to school tomorrow, I was going to ask Emma to prom.
Reyna sat in the car and immediately took the aux cord, Sam Smith blared. I felt so awkward and I just kind of sat quietly as she sang along.
