I was woken up by someone poking me "come on Ashwing wake up" said Stonevine. "Fine" i said groggily as I got up to see no other than my best friend stonevine and my brother and sister. My brothers name is Snowfang and my sisters name is Earthflow. We were from wind and earth pack. My mom was a wind wolf and my dad was earth. I'm a hybrid my dad is ash grey and my mom was white with grey markings. I got my moms markings and my dads pelt color. My brother got my mom's pelt and my dad's eyes and build my sister got my dads pelt and my moms eyes but they look nothing like me.
Now after that stonevine said we need to go lead a soul to the alpha for the welcoming ceremony. When a wolf dies one or more are assigned to lead them to the alpha Shadowheart for a ceremony to be accepted into shadow pack.
"Come on let's go!" said Earthflow. "Ok then let's get this over with." said Stonevine. By this point I'm up and stretching and ready to run. I know this forest inside and out. When we finally get out of our den I start towards the Fire pack's territory. that is where Firebird's soul is waiting or at least what I was told by stonevine.
when we got there something was off firebird's soul wasn't there. We looked for a good 30 minutes but still nothing so we decided to tell Shadowheart. when we got back Shadowheart was waiting for us expecting to see firebird with us but after we told him we could not find Firebirds soul he looked confused he was the first and oldest alpha in this wood seeing him confused was interesting to say the least. He asked us to take him to where Firebirds soul was supposed to be waiting to be taken to Shadow for the welcoming ceremony.
when we got there Shadowheart looked too but after a few minutes he said "maybe I got the wrong location" but then firebirds soul appeared right in front of us with a glowing gold crown of fire. We knew he was an alpha but even Shadowheart didn't know what was going on and I thought i'd seen everything. "I'm the wolf of fire" he said "and I'm the wolf of Shadow" said shadowheart.
"wait Shadowheart is the wolf of shadow!?" I thought. "wow" said Earthflow. "what the heck" said Snowfang. "yes, I am the wolf of shadow the alpha of shadow pack and I wish to welcome in to my pack Firebird" says Shadowheart. "I will not join your pack Alpha Shadowheart" says Firebird. "leave us." says Shadowheart. "ok" we all say.
Then we walk back to our camp and we parted our ways. I went back to my rock to sleep and yes I do like sleeping. When I woke up it was around dusk so I went back to my den and fell asleep almost instantly. When I got up again I decided to take a run to a nearby pond. It was about noon and I love to run and swim Stonevine even nicknamed me "the wolf of water and wind." we all got a laugh out of that. So I pretty much ran over the water until I sunk then I started to swim around.
I swam for around a hour then I heard something so I went to check it out and it was no other than Firebird. "I want you to join my new pack the Darkness pack with me as alpha and you as my beta." he said " NO, I will never join your pack Firebird." I calmly said and sprintented back to the Shadow pack territory. I wasn't that far From the border so it didn't take very long to get over the border and back to camp.
When I got back it was almost dusk and I was out of breath Stonevine came to see why I was so out of breath so I told him the whole story and he wanted me to tell Shadow heart about my encounter with Firebird. Shadowheart asked my why I was outside of the border in the first place when I said I went on a run th told me to take someone else with me in case that happened again. So I went back to my den to take a nap. Swimming for a hour and sprinting all the way back to camp from the border takes a lot out of you so when i got back to my den. I fell asleep after a few minutes.
